He has probably at least 10 years left of his career. Lots of improvement left in terms of time, but potential for improvement is the crucial one. In Europe he can probably improve more than in Argentina. Moving to Inter is the big question mark since the expectation levels and pressure are through the roof compared to anything he's had so far.
My point is more so how is he still in Argentina at 23....he's clearly a bit behind already where he should be if he wants to be at that top level

Good point. But it is not a rule. Check out Milito. He came to Europe at 25 or 26. Played for lower teams until he was 30. And boomed at 29-30y. But Milito`s case is atypical. 23 is still not late.

Retegui has a good ability to play head in second floor and can even score penalties, it would be nice to buy him and it's also a chance to get rid of Colidio, I would also like Mulattieri, he is fast and thinks outside the box, Lautaro stay, and in addition Firmino... So the attack is ready.

I rather play Carboni among all of them, who I also rate the highest, it is not just about the cost. (not including Mateo Retegui)

Mateo Retegui strikes me as a true striker material, it is not just about scoring goals, but I don't watch enough to say for sure, more of a hunch from watching a bit; feels like he is around the level when LM just joined us back then.

Lol Esposito should be with our team? By all counts that guy has mad ego, some skill but he's fucked up his last 3?4? Loan deals. Of his own accord. Pass.

He's also now seemingly been dropped by Bari and played 14 min in the last 4 games

We need to field Carboni and Illiev, also a spot for Esposito would be nice

I dont see why we cant play 4312 or 3412

wouldnt mind a system with wide attacking players next yr

Yeah, lets start a guy who doesnt play for a Serie B team, one guy whose team are at real risk of relegation AT THE PRIMAVERA level, and Carboni

10/10 genius insight from FIF.

For people like Carboni, Illiev, if they can be a small part of our first team squad, then they'd be better off being a first team starter at a Serie B/low A club. For Esposito, he's basically a write off, we should plusvalenza him in the summer if we dont think we can recover his mentality, but he's had 5 failed loans where not a single one has succeeded, and his professional career, imho, is now in real jeopardy.

being sent on loan is to gain experience not meant to top charts, though would be nice, lets see what he can do with top lvl talent around him

Sure, I agree, but I dont expect him to top the charts. I just expect him to play. When you get dropped after two, three, five games every frigging club you go to, you have serious attitude problems and dont deserve a chance at Inter.

Lets see that motherfucker put in 1 consistent season without pissing off his coach, teammates, and scoring a solid number of goals and then we can talk about him playing for Inter.

You should not hate the 352. Formation is pretty good if used properly. We lack proper players and strategy. That 352 won us league title and we dominated by far.

No formation will work unless we bring in adequate players and have a competent coach.

We don't have the proper players for it now given how poorly our wingbacks have been. They're just not up for it.

I still remember a lot people here desperately wanted Arthur Cabral. Because he looks more dominant than Esposito :D
But they underestimated the gap between Serie A and the Swiss League.
