Depay has not light the World with his 3 apps/ 1 goal in 7 months either. For a player with monster wages.

This stinks of a huge mistake. I hope its a 6month Depay loan, that Barca just wants to send him away just to clear the changing room because he's clearly out of their project.

I do understand our position. We don't have cash at all for summer transfers , all the freebies are welcome.

I don't see much of an upside for us in case of a loan swap.

Barca get rid of a fat contract and a player Xavi doesn't want 6 months earlier. Correa will probably flop there but it's just a 6-month deal. Not a tragedy.

Depay gets playing time, raises his value and then chooses where to go in the summer.

Win win for both.

What does Inter get? An expensive contract of a player who is an upgrade over Correa but also could leave the club 6 months later while Correa will be returning from his loan. Either Barca should pay cash on top of it or they need to take Correa permanently for the deal to make sense for Inter.
The upside lies in getting rid of Correa for even 6 months. Depay is way more useful for us than Correa who is dead weight. No one cares about what happens in the summer if we just can get rid of Correa for now, we have a season to play here.

Correa is quite useless unless he’s healthy and given tons of space to run into. Not sure why any club, especially a big club, would want him tbh. He’s a Lazio level player and will always be so.

But if Barca wanna do a loan swap for Depay, you won’t hear me complaining about it. If I were a cule, it’d be a drastically different story.
Barca is run by a bunch of clowns, so that might have something to do with it. Just look how much money they wasted by signing these guys who almost all turned out to be flops:

Dembele
Coutinho
Griezmann
Braithwaite
Ferran Torres
Rafinha

And the list goes on...

But Spain might be a better place for Correa, as he finds more space to play there than in Italia.

I'm against a pure loan deal. Correa will flop there, but his ego will be pumped up to the maximum by the fact that Barcelona wanted him, and he won't move anywhere after that. Depay has a bigger salary but as @CafeCordoba said, the Growth Decree could be applied. In addition with Depay getting a contract, even for 2 years, we'll have 3 decent forwards next season, and the leaving of Lukaku won't push us in a search of new one.
I'm not worried for Depay, as he has pace and decent technique which is enough for serie A.

Would take Kessie Depay-Brozo Correa swap in a heart beat. We would get much needed muscle in midfield and magician with phenomenal skill set and the footballing mind to make things out of absolutely nothing. Make it happen, we already missed the boat with Dybala.

Conflicting reports what Depay's salary really is. Some say it's 7.5m which obviously ludicrous if true.

I think the big issue here might be the will of Correa, totally unreported thing so far.

There are mixed reports because Spanish media report gross wages and not net and that's too hard for Italian journalists. Depay earns 10.5m gross.

Hallo guys, I’m here to warn you. I reset my password to comment here. I am from Holland.

This Depay deal is awfull, he is imo one of the laziest and worst forward we had since years. This is never a good deal for Inter!! His attitude is also horrible.

Yeah we all know deep inside that Correa will turn into some golden prodigy while Depay will be the next Marco Ferrante.

Yeah he has this douchbag vibe like he's so full of himself all the time, but people are so eager to get rid of Correa and get a new forward without paying anything that it leaves us with very few choices.

said from someone whos name says "Mauro" and favorite player has Gagliardini. :awyeah: im not saying that is totally wrong of course but Depay is still skilled, technical a good player, we need someone like him. It's a litle bit like when we got Sanchez, people said he is old and not good anymore, we all saw what he did then. Or also Lukaku 3 years ago. We simply are not Real that can afford world class players, we need to take a risk. And Depay for me is a way better deal then Correa was.

Depay will be better for Inter then this fraud Correa.

He is overall better player at every aspect, and also better suited for 3-5-2 formation as second striker.

Barca have Fati, Torres, Lewa, Dembele and Rapinha, and also not playing anymore with 4-3-3 so doubt they need Correa more then 6 months, Depay didn't evem
play.

Depay - Toro is one sexy attack if they click. Depay - Lukaku/Dzeko would work too. Just have faith in Depay and he'll deliver.
