Gazzetta rumors we would want him still only on loan with an option to buy. It's Gazzetta and it's only March so I would say this is just generic media transfer rumoring at NT break.

If Atalanta accepted a loan with option they would sign him tomorrow.

La Dea would want around €20 million for the Turkish international, and the negotiations could come down to whether or not the two clubs can agree upon the formula of an initial loan deal.
Stay away from Demiral, his footballing intelligence is not good enough for a top team. Try to sign Scalvini if you want another Atalanta player.

Rodrigo Becão incoming: GdS confirmed he has rejected to extend his contract beyond 2024

Becao has been linked with Inter already as one of the main targets to replace Milan Skriniar on the right side of their back three, and according to the Gazzetta they are currently the team in the strongest position to move for him.
I`m 99.9% sure that Inter will sign Becão.

we could literaly sign any defender in the league and they would improve our team. Becao this year is a like a prime Nesta, compared to Skriniar, De Vrij and Bastoni, who all forgot how to defend all of a sudden. When a wing back and a grandpa from Lazio are your 2 best central defenders, you know u're in deep shit.
Anyway, lots of blame should also go to Inzaghi, who couldn't fix this problem, we've been having all year.

I think the majority of our defensive issues stem from our wing backs.

i'd agree with the left wing, as Dimarco just ain't that great of a defender and Bastoni has always been the worst defender out of our 3 central guys, while if Darmian is playing as the RWB, i don't see us having lots of problems on that side.

I think bigger issue the unbalance in the midfield and the constant counter attacking we need to absorb. That has been going on for the whole season right from the start. We lose ball in midfield/even attack and we take counters while our defence is not organized. That's the biggest issue in my books. And it hasn't gone away.

The issue is that both of our WBs have declined in the past 2 seasons and one of our most important players in the midfield have been out injured most of the time this season. WBs play a a crucial role in this formation and when they fail to do their job properly the entire team struggle. Add to that playing a highline defence and a coach who's not a very defensive minded coach and then you have this Inter which is leaking too many goals this season.

But I still think if we had better WBs we would not have conceded these many goals this season.

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been offered to Inter for next season.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old Swedish international wants a move away from Old Trafford and that his representatives have been in contact with the Nerazzurri.
Whilst Lindelof will stay at Man United until the end of the season, the sense remains that the former Benfica defender wants a move away due to his playing time having fallen off this season.
The Swede had already been linked with Inter as a possible replacement for Milan Skriniar in January, although in the end both of the pair stayed put at their current clubs past the end of the transfer window.
However, Inter will certainly be looking to replace Skriniar at the end of the current season, and Lindelof has been offered as a possibility as he seeks a more prominent role than what he has found at United this season.

In contrast to that, there is a defender that is doing well in Ligue 1 and is a new name linked to Inter.

Inter are tracking current Lens and former Southampton defender Kevin Danso
This according to French news outlet Jeunesfooteux, who report that the 24-year-old Austrian international has come onto the Nerazzurri’s radar as a possible defensive reinforcement for the summer.

Inter are looking high and low for possible options to replace Skriniar at the end of the season when the Slovakian leaves for Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires. According to Jeunesfooteux, Lens defender Danso is a player who the Nerazzurri are looking into in this respect.

Danso played for Southampton on loan from Augsburg during the 2019-20 season, but was never really able to establish a firm place for himself in the Saints lineup.

Ten appearances in all competitions that season, six of which were in the English top flight, meant that the Premier League club declined to sign the Austrian on a permanent basis. However, Danso has really found his feet playing for Lens in France, where he has so far made 64 appearances for the side who currently sit third in the Ligue 1 table.

The Austrian joined Lens from Augsburg in 2021 following a season on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf, and hasn’t looked back. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old is an established Austrian international, having been capped thirteen times by his national team.

Danso’s current contract with Lens is set to run out at the end of June 2026, and according to Transfermarkt he is valued at around €16 million.

According to Jeunesfooteux, the Austrian is now very much on Inter’s radar for the summer, whilst the French outlet also confirms that Nerazzurri’s interest in Red Bull Salzburg defender and France youth international Oumar Solet.
1.90m tall, seems like a proper profile. Anyone saw him playing?
