Demiral could be interesting for the right price. He's decently fast, very strong, great in the air, and has a super intense old-school style of defending. That being said, he's prone to stupid mistakes due to his over-eager manner and is terrible on the ball.
Yep, not worth it.

There was news that the Glazers will try to sell the club and are not going to sign anyone this winter (
Reports i have read have Dumfries linked to both Man u and Chelsea.

If true, bidding war and initial price of sale would be 60M - Inter want Mazraoui as his replacement if sold.

If Demiral was good enough Juventus would not offload him like that, for the ~same amount.

Low budget operation: just extend Skriniar and sign the next on a free [I personally expect Smalldini to replace De Vrij]

Like i have said before, if both De Vrij and Skriniar leave on free we need to move on from a back 3. It would be ridiculous to stick with the formation when your only available cbs are Bastoni and grandpas.

if not a back 4, then we should try transitioning to a 3412, or dare i say 343

As reported by Il Messaggero, Inter are hoping to snap up Smalling on a free transfer in the summer, when his contract expires with Roma. The Giallorossi don’t want to lose the Englishman and are working to try and agree a new deal with the 33-year-old:
The Englishman’s contract contains a clause that would allow him to renew his contract for a further year with the same €3.5m net per season wages he earns now, should he reach 50% of games played this season. He is currently on track to hit this target by the end of the month.

Tiago Pinto, trying to get ahead of schedule, offered Smalling a two-year contract with lower wages worth around €2.5m net. A response has not been given yet but the club have seemingly made it clear that they’re not willing to increase the figures too much.
These details can help us predict the wage range of the Inter`s offer to Smaldini.

Generally speaking, the next transfer window will be full of good center backs:

Not bad but should only be considered as a 4th choice at Inter

Not a center back

not Inter level

hard pass

not good

decent but not starting level

can't say I've seen him play

4th choice max

didn't live up to the hype and don't see him improving, pass

Yerry Mina has been injured since the 2018 WC. He scores a goal... dances then is out for 3 months. I love the guy and thought he was the chosen one but my god does this dude have a awful injury history for someone his age

Biasin said there are confirmations about Inter's interest in Schuurs, Dutch Torino cb, but it isn't connected with Skriniar.

I remember Nesta, as a youth player he was playing as a forward. And being Italian the best players get converted to defence.

So why the fuck is there is not one talented italian defender when the ethos for 3/4 of a century was defend, defend and defend.

Personally, I would like this option:
Stephane Singo(Raoul Bellanova) Mouctar Diakhaby(Danilo D'Ambrosio) Milan Skriniar(Francesco Acerbi) Alessandro Bastoni(Ramy Bensebaini) Federico Dimarco(Ramy Bensebaini)

Perr Schuurs is another young defender whose form in Serie A has been outstanding this season, catching Inter’s eye.

The Nerazzurri would be ready to try and include wingback Valentino Lazaro in an offer to Torino for the 23-year-old former Ajax defender, who the Granata value at around €20-25 million. Torino payed 12M for him.
Tuttosh1t wrote: Inter would be more inclined to try and sign Torino defender Perr Schuurs to replace Stefan de Vrij than Roma’s Chris Smalling.

Calciomercato.com report that whilst the Nerazzurri have made initial contacts regarding Schuurs, they would in fact consider Scalvini to be the ideal (aka dream) target in defense.
