OK I'm back after watching 3 minutes of a 5 minute highlight video. Seems he only scores tap-ins. Crap player.

Marotta
Seems to like a dribble. Most highlight clips of him show him receiving the ball from a deeper position and bringing the ball forward.

I guess we see him as more of a second striker since Lauti/ Dzeko like to play closer to goal. Being able to switch to an attacking trident at times could also be interesting.

Bundesliga players in serie A is always a risk but he has good genes (footballing talent wise) and would surely offer more goals than Correa, albeit also probably less assists.

Thuram looks like he's going to frustrate the shit out of me. With him, Lautaro, Hakan, Brozovic, and Sanchez I'm going to lose all my goddamn hair.

I just hope they go for Thuram because they believe in him and not only because he's cheaper than Correa.

From everything a read here it doesn't seem like Inter are getting him for the 1st team.

I'm growing more and more interested how are we going to play. Is Džeko a starter now? Or is he a sub for Lautaro who'll play as a lone forward?

I think Inzaghi will go back and forth with 3-5-2 with Lautaro and Dzeko and 3-5-1-1 with Sensi/Hakan behind the lone striker. Dzeko won’t be starting every fixture at his age.

I’m not sure where Thuram fits in however. Unless he’s fully converted to a CF.

The good thing about Thuram is he gives us more flexibility in attack and we could even switch to 3-4-3 if we want to. But he is a gamble. An interesting gamble but a gamble nonetheless.
so does Correa and Berardi. How are we going to break down stubborn defences with a player like this?

Don't worry about Turham. Big, tall and black forwards are doing pretty fine in Italy lately. Just see Simy, Lukaku, Oshimen and Zapata.

I think all these other names are a smokescreen. It will be Zapata in the end I bet.

Lazaro + 15m for Thuram and Vecino+15m for Insingne would be interesting deals 🥇

When we were linked with Zapata for 30-40m, I hated the idea. It seemed like a waste of money. Still does. But some of the strikers we have recently been linked with (Correa, Thuram, etc) makes me wish we get Zapata. At least he fits the role, and that we can expect a minimal level of performances for the next 2 years.

If we get Thuram or Correa, what happens when Dzeko gets injured (and he will, looking at his history and age)... I love Lautaro, but he is not a Lukaku replacement. Among the strikers we have been linked with, only Vlahovic makes some sense.

Talking about Vlahovic is basically like talking about Lewandowski. Or even Messi. We can't afford him. He's out of budget. So we need to basically just forgot that option, because he is not an option.

Di Marzio also claims if we don't spend more than 25m for Thuram we're going to have the funds to make a move for Insigne. I won't be surprised if Marotta tries to lowball Napoli for Insigne. Will ADL bite? I seriously doubt it.

Does Insigne even want to come here to not start every game? Though be to fair, if he and Thuram arrive the possibilities of playing a 3-4-3 are definitely there.
