Inter very slow to get proper 1st and 4th strikers, it needs to wait until final days to done deal.

Sport Mediaset: Nerazzurri have now blocked Belotti, have reached an agreement in principle with Torino on the basis of 20 million euros plus two bonuses.

Calciomercato.com: Inter have moved forward with the entourage of the "Gallo" without yet appearing with an official offer for Cairo.

Biasin confirmed that Correa is first target and Inter won`t offer more than 30m, so if Lotito does not take it, Belotti will be signed.

> IMO: Best case scenario: we get Correa now and Belotti for free next summer.

Yes. Belotti is not an alternative to Correa. He's a plan B. This market is not full of same type of players so we need to explore different types of avenues.

I wouldn't go over 30m€ for Correa so if Lotito won't budge, then I'd go different route. That's why it's good to have that different route ready if we face the scenario where Lotito won't budge.

Belotti at least has the numbers compared to Correa, from multiple seasons. It would be Dzeko and Belotti for the target position next to Lautaro.
Wait 6 months until Inzaghi goes down the old Italian safety-first manager route. Dzeko and Belotti up front supported by Darmian and D'Ambrosio on the flanks with Gagliardini in midfield 😀

I'd take Belotti now and Raspadori next year. No Correa, thanks.

According to Biasin, Inter have an agreement with Cairo for Belotti. They have made a 30m offer to Lazio for Correa and they have no intention to increase it. They're waiting for Lotito's response today.

Biasin also said once Inter sign a second forward, it's mercato chiuso.

Screw Lotito and get Belotti done. He'll do well here.

Also, as some suggested, going for both Correa and Belotti would be overkill and waste of money, especially since Alexis is still here. Save that cash and maybe reinforce in winter.

i wish we went after someone like jonathan david instead
Why? He looks like a discount Martial (2014/15) to me. Not bad, just aight. Def not ready for serie a or a big club. In anycase he's definitely EPL bound. WHat about that other Canadian in Turkey?

Larin is exceptionally average. He's also far too slow.

Look at it this way, a slow deliberate attack will be easy to follow. Moreover, the opponents counter attack will look lightning quick(y)

Belotti sucks all of you guys are high
Correa also sucks. The difference of getting Correa or Belotti is not so big in terms of quality. I don't see anyone of them as an upgrade for a title contender but since our objective is top 4 finish, they are ok. The main difference is the price and I prefer to get the cheaper one (Belotti) and save some money for reinvestment in some real player like Vlahovic or Raspadori, next season.

Correa is overvalued, but he would at least add something to our attack that we don’t have currently + he suits the tactics and is a direct request of the manager after we fucked him by selling Lukaku 2 weeks before the start of the season.

Belotti is just a scuffed Toro.

He would be way too expensive. What did Lille pay for him last year? 25-30 million?

If we would somehow sign Belotti and Insigne on the cheap (15 + 20 million or something) I would consider that as a great solution for our attack.
Dzeko, Lautaro, Belotti, Insigne, Sanchez (?)

Add Nandez to the midfield and we are set for the season.
Yeah, 30 m last year from my team in Belgium. He ain't leaving for less than 40.

Amazing striker, would be very great w Toro and Dzeko

If Insigne was to sign for Inter, then Sánchez would leave. His transfer depends on Sánchez' fitness.

If we don't have major injuries of Dzeko, Lautaro, Hakan and Sensi, we may even keep Satriano and still will finish in top 4. So, why Inter should overpay for someone which is not crucial for our objective?
And Belotti is not so bad as you are trying to make him.
Just want to point out that 9n and Vecino also were direct request by the coach and they are bad transfers. And please, don't come with the argument that they scored important goals for achieving our target, cuz with proper players instead we would have never been in a situation to wait for a last round. Zaniolo would have been still here as well.

Correa might not be a world beater but unlike 9G he's motivated to come to Inter and unlike Vecino he's had a few big game moments in his career...

I think giving the coach one or two players as requested is fair as long the player is not problematic or overpriced. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll have a late peak like Gomez, Muriel, Illicic, etc. Worthy investment as long as price stays below 30M (I'd haggle for 20M)
