I don't see how this would happen unless Marina tells Frank that we need to make money so you need just accept it and she pushes Kante out. I don't see Kante pursuing the transfer at all.

Only other option I would consider is a swap with partey.

Partey would really be a great signing. And he's actively not happy with the contract he's being offered at Atletico, so the will of the player could actually play a part(ey) in negotiations.

But he's also got a 50m asking price just like Kante, so we still need to sell.

No more Gagliardini thankfully. Conte is not an idiot, his options were too limited in the midfield. Yes he could have played Eriksen more for example, but he never goes in a defensive effort though.

Don't know, maybe it's not that much of a downgrade. Is he gonna win a trophy at Chelsea? Maybe some but not EPL or CL anytime soon. Inter is closer to a trophy than Chelsea I'd say (maybe they can win one of their cup comps though, but so can Inter win Coppa).

we are #2 or 3 in Italy. With a slight change of being #1 depending and how shit Pirlo is at coaching. We can win Copa, the league and hopefully make it out of group stages this time. If not defiantly should try to win Europa league and not let an own goal sink us again.

Chelsea is at best the 8th best team in England currently with a green coach. Agreed best prospects for them are winning the low cup competition England has.

I'd say Chelsea has a really great team and they got rid of Ivanović, Willian,.. and Lampard is also a pretty capable coach.
