I don't understand what it is with our club that they sign so many mediocre players just for depth. Adding this guy does not add any true quality to the team. He is chelsea tier 1 / tier 2 at worst. and he also confirmed that we're offering brozo/eriksen for kante and chelsea said no.
sadly i dont think we can raise any cash, since the most probable sales we could get is from the rumoured kondogbia sales to PSG (we own like 25%)

Report: Inter offered Eriksen and Brozo for Kante

Inter are reportedly looking to offload Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic to create space for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante at San Siro.

The Telegraph reveals the Blues have rejected a swap deal including the two Inter players, also because former coach Antonio Conte is at the other end of the trade.

The newspaper reports Inter are willing to offer Eriksen and Brozovic to get the French midfielder, but Conte’s controversial farewell has left a scar and the Londoners are not willing to enter negotiations with the Nerazzurri over an exchange deal.

Kante is at the top of Conte’s wish list, but the €60m price tag means Inter must sell to afford the former Leicester City man.

Eriksen and Brozovic could still be the key men to generate the required resources for a potential operation.

The coach has clearly been given carte blanche to control everything, and if you not aboard the Conte train one hundred percent, you're a hater, not a real fan, or you don't want the club you support to succeed. Even if it means actively making our squad worse for a coach that won't be here for more than a year.

Simple as.

These aren't cheap acquisitions, mind you. We might not have a whole lot to spend, but how we're spending it is CLEARLY used to satisfy every whim Conte seems to have.

Godin and Kolarov play on different sides of the field. Its Skriniar, D'ambrosio, Candreva and Hakimi on the right side. Kolarov will be mixed in on the left with Bastoni and Young. Darmian isnt going to feature much unless all hell breaks loose. Saying we got Kolarov for Godin is like saying we got Hakimi for Biraghi.

I don't see how this would happen unless Marina tells Frank that we need to make money so you need just accept it and she pushes Kante out. I don't see Kante pursuing the transfer at all.
