Dunno why you pull this stats out. Unbeaten didn’t mean Gags had been faultless. Well...his horrible miss of the season vs Sassuolo for instance, that match wasn’t a loss.

I pulled it out because I personally count success based on wins and losses.

Suppose our midfield is Vidal, Sensi, Brozovic, Eriksen, Barella, Ninja. Wouldnt it be easier to just keep gags on to do a simple job within his abilities, then to sell him at a loss, just to gamble on a player with a similar profile?

Seems like we're taking the path of most resistance because he had a bad miss.

He was featured more because Sensi, Vecino, and Valero were injured and finished. Such circumstances made him first choice. Assuming we have more fortune with fitness, a 5/6 will rarely see action and if they do, it's good to have gagliardini's characteristics. Come on, he is limited in technical skills but he has lots of stamina and breaks up attacks.

Report: Yaya Toure wants Spezia

Former Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has reportedly offered his services to Serie A newcomers Spezia.

According to the Secolo XIX newspaper in Italy, an intermediary contacted Spezia to ask if they were interested in signing the 37-year-old.

The Ivorian is a free agent after experiences at Olympiakos and Qingdao Huanghai, but in no rush to retire just yet.

Toure was in the headlines last week after he was thrown out of the Soccer Aid charity match for a misguided ‘joke’ when he sent lewd images to teammates and offered to hire sex workers for the group.

Spezia are in their first ever Serie A season, having won the Serie B promotion play-offs.

Inter Milan are looking at possibly signing Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri

Inter Milan are considering a move for Fulham's Jean Michael Seri.

The Italian club have wanted to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea but are short of funds.

Seri - who was on loan at Galatasaray last season - could present a more affordable option if Inter move a player out, potentially on an initial loan.

The Ivorian midfielder was also said to be on Everton's wanted list this summer before they signed Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Fulham are listening to offers for Seri as well as fellow central midfielder Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Bluenine come on. You always claim we should get few quality players than many average ones, and rightfully so. The guy is a Fulham flop. He's in massive decline since 2018. We shouldn't be anywhere near him.

And Brozo is fine for us. What we need is to get Vidal/Sensi/Nainggolan in place of Gagliardini. Also maybe focus on Partey or Locatelli for the DM role.

Chelsea reject Inter offers for Kanté, including Eriksen in part-exchange

Chelsea have rejected an offer for N’Golo Kanté from Internazionale that included Marcelo Brozovic and have told the Italian club they are not interested in a deal involving the former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Antonio Conte has made Kanté a top target and Inter, who do not have a big budget, are weighing up whether to continue their pursuit of the midfielder. Conte will have to raise funds through player sales if he wants to make a straight cash offer.

Inter were left disappointed after testing the water with a part-exchange offer including Brozovic, the 27-year-old Croatia midfielder. Chelsea are not in a rush to sell Kanté, even though injury problems restricted him to 28 appearances last season, and are not interested in Brozovic.

Frank Lampard said in June he wanted to keep Kanté and Conte knows it will not be easy to prise the France international from his old club. Kanté shone after being signed by Conte for Chelsea four years ago, helping the Italian win the Premier League in 2017, but reports in France have suggested he is happy at Stamford Bridge.

Inter, who signed Aleksandar Kolarov from Roma this week, also asked Chelsea whether they would be interested in Eriksen as part of a deal for Kanté or in a straight transfer. The Dane has struggled since leaving Tottenham for £18m in January and Chelsea are not in the market for attacking players after spending heavily on Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

There remains a slight possibility Chelsea could be tempted into selling Kanté for the right price. They are close to signing the Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and are then expected to target the West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. However Lampard would favour selling Jorginho rather than Kanté.
