Nope, he could not occupy those spots. Mayyyybe CM at some special case situations and not a full game.

He could only be slotted behind the striker in this system.

this is classic inter, we could've gotten vidal for free, but nah, we had to complicate it.

I guess a lot of us would like to see Tonali but considering Conte's words about the experience, I think Vidal is simply more likely.

And you know what? Maybe Conte is right. In reality, we have a place for both of them, those players are not mutually exclusive. The question is who is going to come in the winter as we are probably talking about one player. In a weird way, maybe Vidal is a better idea; at least Tonalli would have more playing time. I don't think he would abandon Brescia mid-season anyway.
