imo we need 3 kind of players in our midfield, one box to box midfielder, with vision and good passing that can attack and defend, Stankovic is getting older so we need to start looking his replacement. Montolivo might be a good option for that.

Someone who can dribble and take opponents on his own on the wings, Nasri or Sanchez would be perfect for this. And we have Obi and Cou on the bench who should receive more minutes next season.

And the replacement of Cambiasso, who is going to play if Cambiasso is injured? Mariga? Zanetti? Motta? None of them are as good as him, in inter.it says Mariga's best position is at holding midfielder, but I'm not sure of that.

______Eto'o____Sanchez
________Sneijder_______
___Motta___Cuchu__Montolivo_
Nagatomo_Samuel__Lucio__Maicon
____________JC_____________

Seyydo and NeroIndigo,

Haha, ridiculous bullshit. Some interisti are surely some ungrateful bastards. You guys seem to have NO IDEA how much Moratti has put his OWN money to this club. And still you have balls to ask even MORE from him.... Huh

im not ungrateful.. i for one know how much moratti has spent in the recent years and I thank him for that.
inter is my club and i love it but that doesnt mean i cant criticize!

the money cud be spent wiser,
im sure as hell if we went for affelay we cud've signed him, even if lets say, he is not inter material he cud be an investment. affelay now can easily go for 15 mil.

affelay and sahin were great oppurtunities for investment and we missed them.

u might say we r broke and we dnt have any money to buy new players:
1- we cant find cheaper players than affelay and sahin
2- if we r broke why the only players that moratti ever talked abt in this entire year r messi and fabregas?! most expensive players in the world!! why does he give us the impression that he can buy any player on the market and then he goes and signs players like pandev?

inter has been talking abt investment in youngsters for the past few years and yet last year they pay 25 mil for a 31 yr old striker that was good only for 1 season and now we r stuck with him for the next 4 yrs cuz no one wants to buy him and we r paying him 6 mil a year just to sit on the bench, and dzeko goes to mancity for 30 mil. keep in mind that dzeko left during winter transfer window and to MANCITY! wen it comes to mancity always prices go up. for any other club he wud've probably costed 20 mil only.
dnt get me wrong, i love milito and he is one of the best things that happened to us but im just talking abt the strategy here.

we r not going after the right players.. period

im not ungrateful, i just want to see a better inter!

Every time I hear phrase like that, and it becomes norm lately(which is not a good sign btw), I remind myself of the quotes we wrote here from Galliani over past couple years, and how much we ridiculled him for it.

I can't defend others, epseicaly the two you mentioned there, so their business is their business, but my position is clear.

What Moratti did in the past will never be taken away from him. Years of mutual suffering untill calciopoli, milions of dollars every summer, and bilion(s) over the years. But lets not get paranoid, but in the other way. If Moratti tomorrow sold half the squad and make Inter middle SerieA team, would you say the same thing? Probably not, and that's because every person has it's own line. You have your own, I have mine, at which enough is enough.

Now... do I expect Moratti to spend 200mln in one year like it was in the past? No. We're living in a time where we were told we have to even sell first before we buy, but I didn't complain either.

I don't want to find a new owner, cause I believe Moratti family is in the core of Inter, and it was like that for many years now. What I do want though is to not make a joke out of us. Why when we SHOULD spend the money that we earned in trebble year we didn't, although we did try to save face in the january(which is admisiong of guilt by our management btw) and now we HAVE to spend, and much more than we could last summer?

If I am being told... that we have to sell first to buy, I take it as it is. Fine. Then Trebble year comes, we earn 100mln with the sales that we MADE, and THEN what we buy? Nada...

I mean it is ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous, and making fools out of us.

Yup, so many titles and we are apparently BROKE ? Kind of weird ...
Anyway, we have to sign players, ONE WORLD-CLASS forward and a TOP midfielder to support Sneijder in attack and help out chuchu in defense.
You can not persuade me that there is no money for those CRITICAL signings...in that case we are going behind our rivals.

As for the rumoured players, Nasri would be great addition without a doubt for that money, Montolivo also could do great for less than 10 milions 'cause we will need numbers also if he is not going to play in the first 11 all the time (there are midfielders that are going out, so we obviously can't get just ONE TOP player and rely on him all season)....also there are many players that can fill that role, we must take a broader look for it, don't limit on just couple of players that are always in the news!!!
And someone mentioned it, altough it might be hard but in any case HAMSIK is awesome! :D

Don't over react, people. If we have learned anything form Moratti is that he loves Inter. If he wasn't interested in Inter he wouldn't be working on a new stadio and wouldn't have given much thought to add anything in the Jan transfer window.

Am sure we'll buy this summer but what we have to realize is that Its not because Moratti doesn't want to spend. Remember that a new financial rules are coming in next summer so Inter need to develop a new way of doing business. Thats why we have seen the signings of more cheap youngsters, so they can hopefully grow into contributors or in 1 or 2 cases into star players.

Am sure we'll see a mix of this in the summer, relatively young establish players and younger inexperience players. We need to find a way to continue to be successful but also cut cost so we can get a new stadio and comply with the rules.

At least this is how I see it, maybe am assuming stuff that doesn't matter.

SE SALTELLI....
Yup, so many titles and we are apparently BROKE ? Kind of weird ...

How much we receive from these titles and how much we spend on getting there. Cmon ppl there is a vast difference here. Our shareholders are not a charity here and there's a reason we aren't spending. We won the CL at the worst time possible if you ask me.

If there was a bigger time frame between winning and the FFP, I'm sure we would have use some of that money to invest into transfers. But with 2 years to go, and a team that looked like it could do it all again(on paper), the decision was made to minimize spending. Something that's not very common around here. Now we find ourselves in a quandary, as we have a year to make this work.

It will be very interesting to see if we stay with this policy for another year, or if MM says "fuck it, this is the last time anyway" and takes funds out of his personal account, to purchase those 2-3 big acquisitions.

Years of spending and not achieving much has hurt us ppl. For those who don't know, we haven't been winning like this all our lives. We have always spent mammoth amounts to almost nearly no return. Now that we have recouped some of that spending, it's only right to dish it back to the people who forked out in the first place.

Guys try to get it that those titles don't get us financially healthy club, for christ sake. :D They might have turned us even or plus for last year but that's it. So when there are zero tituli seasons, Moratti has to cover (like normally). But in FFP, that isn't allowed. So do you guys see where this is going? Long-term planning and making our club healthier financially

When you say We, what exactly do you mean? How much money are you contributing to acquiring new players? I wonder if it was your own money how you would think about buying players. I hope Moratti does not go crazy. As some, reasonable and sound members have voiced, with the new regulations kicking in Arsenal will be one of the few top teams to have no problems whatsoever. Moratti, as I said before, and will probably say again, has to make his decisions with the new regulations in mind. These are the rules.

... Considering that Massimo Moratti was one of the biggest advocates for the FFP rules, you would think that he would not be completely erroneous to the fact that they're coming and now should be the time we invest and stop giving these ridiculous long term contracts to old players.

At this stage, I couldn't give a fuck at what Moratti's done for this club in the past, that's exactly what it is, the past! I care about the future of this club and right now that's not looking bright at all! We're turning into the exact same thing we made fun of just a few years ago when Milan won the Champions League, and we should just sit back and be pleased?! Hell no!

I'm tired of this sell before we buy non-sense, whilst we orchestrate transfers that involve Muntari..

DI MARZIO, "SAHIN WON THE CHARM OF WELL-PAID REAL"
05/09/2011 20:52 by Danielle Mari article read 3325 times
Source: gianlucadimarzio.com
Inter had followed him but eventually marry Nuri Sahin was at Real Madrid. Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky's market expert, has no doubts about the reason for the choice of turkish: "Now it's official, you knew for a while: Sahin leave Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid, ready to fish again in Germany after the recent purchases and Ozil Khedira. Too bad, Sahin is a real talent, the kind that would see us happy. Inter has followed him and wooed a long time, but won the appeal (well paid) of camiseta blanca.

See here, is not the charm of Real that make sahin bling bling and choose real, its all about money.. Real surely give a lot of cash to sahin , his agent and the club behind that only '10M' transfer.

Well, the quotes I read from the player suggested it was the manager, not the club, that tipped the balance for Sahin...Believes it is Mou who will nurture him into the 'next level', providing Mou remains at RM for much longer

INTER ACCELERATING

There is a way for Ramirez.
The deal for Sanchez is complicated and the ownership of Krhin and Viviano could enter into play for the Uruguayan.

Milan - Just to summarize previous events: Inter are waiting for Sanchez, their first choice. But there is interference that may block this preference of Inter: a) Manchester and Barca are willing to pay 30 million. b) With Udinese in the Champions League, Pozzo could convince il Nino to stay even if it will be tough. So in short, the operation for Ramirez will be accelerated which can involved the two co-owned players in Viviano and Krhin.

Last installment Acceleration here doesn't mean that the deal will be done in July but it means that Inter will monitor the moves of Bologna which will have to make the final installment around 800,000 euros to Penarol. It will be difficult for the Rossoblu, after paid the first two installments, to let go the opportunity to complete the purchase (the total is about 3.2 million).

The other halves Gaston Ramirez is liked by Inter a lot: a 19 year-old with pure technical skills as well as the inconstancy of a young player. So for this season, Inter do not want to enter in any auction situation with City for Sanchez. So the way to make this deal is to put on the table a co-ownership deal with Bologna. But the road to acquired him fully will required the two "collaborators" in Viviano and Krhin who will be key for the attack of Inter.

Scenarios So here are the scenarios that need to be taken very seriously: a) Inter would acquired the other half of Viviano and at the same time endorse Julio Cesar. Therefore Inter would leave Viviano on loan for another year. b) Renew the sharing of the Slovenian Krhin. c) Acquiring half of Gaston Ramirez so figure out what is going on with Sanchez and if there is an ability to get him still.

=====

Summary: Getting Sanchez is complicated so it seems like we are going after Ramirez for real now.

Actually a better summary Michael is,

Sanchez is priority number 1, however many factors make this difficult, so in the meantime, we will get Ramirez on co-ownership, loan him back to Bologna and in the mean time keep trying for Sanchez.
