Banega has been hot/cold, a real mixed bag, tbh...Biggest question with him is always where his head is at...This is the young gun who was a whisper away from being dumped all the way back to Argentina due to routine implosions regardless of his club...A loose cannon who was a red card waiting to happen and never trained properly or took his profession seriously

A nice article is out there on the net about his return to normalcy after meeting some woman more than a year ago...Apparently it was a life altering experience that saw him dedicate himself to the game...Had a terrific season last season although he dipped in form this past one

Still seems to have a penchant for losing it but can provide a bit of a Xabi Alonso to your attack...Truth is, either he's nursing some injury this season or he's lost a bit of pace (Or gained weight) because he's lacked that incisive burst he showed last season

He remains a bit of enigma, tbh...Not quite Balotelli but could go the way of a Nery Castillo too

He's a player who's not stable so he won't be coming here now definitely. :p

Kaka wanted to leave. If Milan wanted money, they could sell him to ManCity whenever they wanted. I'm not god at mathematics, but last time I checked 100mil€+>65mil€. Besides, Milan never really needed money. Berlusconi said it on a couple of occasions he's been covering Milan debt every year since takeover... So, reading between lines, Kaka's sale didn't cover the money hole in 2009

Milan needs money every year, just like Inter. So of course Milan needed money. That Kaka money just made it possible for Silvio to pay less to Milan.

If there's a player whom Eden can be compared with in terms of similarity of playing style, which one would it be?

I think in terms of playing style he's a lot like Cristiano Ronaldo (not saying he's that good :p, although I do feel he has lots of potential): Good dribbler, strong shot, lots of guts,...

I posted a nice vid of him in the Midfield Transfers thread, which illustrates how he looks like CR :)

EDIT: Ah, here's my post:

Just heard that Zidane recommended Eden Hazard (Lille, AMF, 20 yo) to Juve.
To be honest, I find it very strange that none of the big clubs are seriously hunting for him yet...
He's a pure attacking MF with a very good technique and good shot, a bit Cristiano Ronaldo-style, but obviously not that good (yet ;))

Some of his achievements:
-Made it to the Belgian NT at 17 years (although our team isn't top-notch, that's not bad IMO :p)
-Young player of the year in Ligue 1 (2008-2009, 2009-2010)
-Elected in team of the year in Ligue 1 (2009-2010)

Some more stats:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_Hazard

And ofcourse, for the fanboys, a nice youtube vid:

I dig Hazard instead of Sanchez(If he is too pricey for out budget). 15-18 with playing incentives to go up to 23-25 seems like a good deal.

No dude. Berlusca has been investing in Milan. Just not in reinforcements. That year, Kaka was sold, we had a financial gap of 30mil€. We could've sold Pirlo to Chelsea for 20mil€+ if we wanted to erase the minus. Seriously, it's not as it seems and you don't really have to trust media everything they say. Besides, Kakas father wanted more money which Milan could not pay and Real could. He's earning... what, around 10-12mil€? And tbh, it was a good thing we sold him. His knee was bad, as a matter of fact those knee problems could potentially end his career, but I think he's going to keep himself healthy.
besides, Berlusca never sold Milans finest players. He could easily sell Pato to Chelsea for 40mil€, but as far as player doesn't want to go, he won't sell him.

Montolivo, Poli and Hazard would be good.

If we're losing Sneijder, I would like to see Modric or Tevez as well.

Pretty much summed it up.

2 of Monto/Poli + Banega/Hazrd. Add Tevez/Sanchez.

Eden Hazard is amazing, no doubt and there's also his brother Thorgan Hazard. The Hazard's must have had some good quality genitals to produce not one but two international football playing sons.

Not sure its realistic to expect two major signings. At 20m, Hazard would fall into that category. This is a baseless guess, but I estimate we'll have around 30-40m to spend this summer (not including money earned from transfers); Montolivo will be between 5 and 10m and hopefully we got Poli for less than 5m. That leaves us with approximately 25m for our big purchase. I think we should be happy with one of Tevez, Sanchez or Hazard.

In that case I prefer Tevez or Sanchez. With Castaignos and Coutinho already occuping spots in the first team, we're meeting our quota of young super subs. For all his brilliance on youtube and in the French league, Hazard has no experience in the big leagues and could well turn out to be another Quaresma. However, he's the cheapest of the three and so I think he'd be the most likely.

Plus, who ever comes in would be replacing Pandev, so they really don't have big shoes to fill....

Hazard's stats aren't so good 48 games, 12 goals and 8 assists, nothing sepcial for me.
He got nothing on Sanchez (30 , 12 , 6)

maybe he is not that good in a stats, but we definetely need someone like robben who can dribble and run to defender, hazard definetely can fill that role.

we r going after hazard if we cudnt get sanchez. udinese is gonna make it to the CL and it wud be very difficult to sign sachez so the club is looking for alternatives.
i take sanchez over hazard any day. there is only 5 milion difference but sanchez has proved himself in Seria A.
also, 25 mil for a 19 yr old boy who hasnt proved himself in a big league yet?!! max 15 mil is enuf

lets all hope udinese doesnt make it to the champions league
