I can't stand this guy. He might love Inter, but his body language, lack of leadership and everything else makes me feel embarassed that he's Inter's president

He's clearly lack of money, but what kind of leadership do you expect? At least he let his capable employees do their jobs. Of course things are not perfect (financial problems, shirt sponsorship, some wasted transfer) but overall, we have improved other aspects as well (on the pitch results, decent squad, marketing, facilities). He's not as terrible as people here say.

Yeah, but I would say that same type of entitlement and my daddy is rich energy is probably what made us took this direction of trying to win every trophy in the last couple of years. We don't have salary caps like some of our rivals (we have limits, but we are not limited like milan for example) and he clearly wants to win. That's just about the only thing positive about him, besides the obvious fact he cares, whether for his selfish reasons or not, it's irrelevant as long as we have a winning squad.

For everything else he needs to fuck off asap cos sheer will to win is not good enough in the long run for a club like inter. That type of steam will run out real quick without someone who will pump actual money into the club.

there's such a joke in some of this thread, but this post is great.

He's hired competent employees and let them do the job. Yes, they've been massively constrained in terms of what they can do, but actually we've got some pretty decent results overall if you consider that.

At least he wasnt a Berlusconi micro-meddling type. He knew his limitations and built around that. I get why people here dont like someone who just, through their father's wealth, landed into a big job that impacts something we all love, but he's actually done a pretty good job for it considering all the constraints that have been in place.

The kid doesn't breathe around the Inter HQ without his dad's permission, that's the issue. Not that he's running the show. He's not running shit, he's just around as the token owner guy.

His only decisions are what he'll wear (probably not always), who he'll try to fuck and how fast he'll drive the car. Everything else comes from upstairs.

Well, personally for me, no salary cap thing is a minus points. In fact, it piss me off so much that we're somewhat still run like a wealthy club in terms of players wage. That's a reason why we're still accumulating deficit each season despite the relative success on the field while bbilan is projected to be making profit starting from this season.
What is the point of winning one or two more coppa if you end up in serie c due to bankruptcy.

Relative success on the field is based on those high wages.

The shirt sponsor has been handled terribily. Whatever the case is. Either Zhang believing in frauds or Antonello is still keeping his seat after damaging millions to our club.

His best decision so far is still hiring Marotta and stops interfering too deep aka Barbosas Marios

Napoli prove it wasn't always true. They can win scudetto beyond high-wages teams.
true, but probably <90% of the time, the team that's in the top 3 spenders for wages wins the league. Across most leagues.

fortunately these two seasons , serie a winner grabbed by the low spender team. (in term of wages)

The key point is football project and vision. Manchester City, PSG, Munchen, Real Madrid, Barcelona RB Salzburg etc have this. not just give their player a random higher salaries, but they collect best player around the world and make commitment to be the best in football, get all trophies available every season.

He gave pretty long and interesting interview to gazzeta, hope somebody gives us proper english translation here. Anyways he talked about how he stumbled upon marotta name, how he is during mercato months, advice moratti gave him which maybe we see applied in this upcoming mercato etc...

And yeah, he definitely doesn't seem like he is interested into selling the club, seems pretty confident in a new loan deal with oaktree...

Also said Simone is easiest coach to work with, Conte the hardest. Not surprising.

But, yeah, most importantly, he isn't selling soon.

Realy? Barca? REAL? CIty and psg? The 4 teams that just throw money at any player there is?
Also barca almost bankrupting it selfe cause they overpaid for scrubs left and right?
But sure its their football projects and vision that make em win... Common now

didn't Barcelona MESSI-XAVIESTA, Madrid's NEO GALATICOS from 2009-2018 a successful football-project to bring them every trophies available?
Unlike Inter threw a huge salary for Godin, Vidic, Nacho just for nothing..
