We play like that against City and we get hit for 5. So many questionable decisions today but hey we won right so that’s the only thing that matters for many

I’m convinced that he plays Gagliardini because of his physical aspect, nothing more.

Exactly.

You can't put Asllani there to defend against those crosses. Gags was subbed in at 83th minute so it wasn't like he played half an hour there. Team was toast by then, needed fresh legs and most of all, physical presence.

Correa is pretty useless but I noticed few times he took some sprints when pressing. :D Toro aswell simply needed to come out, he had given his all at that point. Long season is taking its toll (we're playing max games and Lautaro has had the most games you can have in a single season with the World Cup).

He beat some good teams in cup competitions this season. Barcelona, Milan (three times), Parma (ok not a great opponent and harder then expected lol), Atalanta, Porto, Benfica, Juventus, Fiorentina.

The CL game vs City is the final boss, a Herculean labour, nothing like these above mentioned teams. If he doesn't win (but secures a CL spot in the league) you can understand it was hard to begin with but if he does win he's a legend.

Everytime after I praised him, he always let me down again by playing Gags. Somehow he always make me think twice to praise him again.

But by winning this coppa, even though some people said this is minor trophy, I still believe he deserved to be in La Grande Inter already.

He won the coppa back to back with limited resources.

This year, he made us to the UCL final, it is a huge achievement, and on the top of that, he had beaten Milan in both legs.

Tbh Still not a huge fan because of his fucked up here and there but This is La Grande Inter worthy already to me.

Thank you Limone. And still FUCK you for still playing Gags!!

This guy is such a headache. He can do many good things but at the same time he tends to shot himself in the foot and make his own self look like a moron. Our lack of depth cannot be denied but at the same time him insisting on using Gagliardini and Correa is plain stupid. It's not like he has absolutely zero options at all.
Ask Zhang Suning for responsibilities why they brought and signed Correa and Gagliardini at the first time, and why they provide Inzaghi with no backing and a thin squad after all.

wheither we like him or not (the 12 loss is heavy and i know)
he is way better than being a ROCK on the bench
he is too invested in the team, with limited resources adding the coppa wins
he is part of inter history, through the 118 years
few managers managed to grab cups and trophies

thanks to him and to marotta

If he wins the CL he is going to be a legend. Which means we may be witnessing the early days of a truly great manager.

I don't know if this is the case and not going to pretend like I do, for the record. But I think it is possible which is interesting to think about given how polarizing the guy is.

Inzaghi will join that group if he wins at least one Champions League or Scudetto. The first target we are still far (despite the final) and the second one we are even praying for top4 survival.

Maybe I was to harsh to him. The results in cup fights are great, no one can deny. And offcourse Limone has a hand in that. It isn’t a coincidence. We play also some great football from time to time, that’s also on him.

That bein’ said. I really don’t like his defensive set up. I also don’t like his conservative way using youngsters (although I understand the reason behind this). And our CL run is exceptional. But knock-out run against Benfica, Porto and Milan is once in a lifetime. We also lost two times against Bayern this season for example. I won’t give a fuck when we win the trophy, but our changes are minimum against City offcourse.

I still don’t really like him as a manager. But I do think we can’t do really better. With our limited resources he’s getting the maximum out of it (except last season, when we lost the Scudetto to a inferior Milan).

I think with Scalvini coming here (I hope) and another striker coming in (Firmino, I hope)

this group of players can do a lot better next season
