Not initially but he became that guy last season. At first Dimarco had come to replace Young as we also had Kolarov for lcb. But Kolarov was utterly done and more like a cheerleader at the time so Dimarco ended up playing as lcb a lot more than expected. In this season, management didn't sign a replacement for retired Kolarov, expecting Dimarco to cover both for lcb and lwb. But Inzaghi made Dimarco a starter for lwb leaving Inzaghi with no real cover for Bastoni. Inzaghi mostly uses Acerbi there but he isn't a great fit for the role and the guy is 35. He can't play so much. We need a player there.

It's a shame there are no links with Ndicka as he would have been perfect for the role.

Darmian is so versatile, that if he can play RCB and Left Winger, he can also do LCB.

I feel like we need a tall, fast and strong who is also good with his feet RCB next year (basically the replacement for Skriniar, but as i said, someone who can create something. Skriniar always has been clumsy with the ball). Then Darmian can be the first guy to come into the bench for any of the 2 side-defenders or 2 wingers.

I can’t figure out why ours can’t return pirola! He would be a great replace for bastoni. And is it true that the club wants to redeem bellanova? It will be a fiasco

I haven't really changed my mind on Mavro. He is an interesting cb (fast, strong, good in the air, good with ball on his feet), there's potential in him but his defesive awareness is poor and the guy is an error waiting to happen. Even in games he looks at his best he could make a silly mistake. He would be more than fine as D'Ambrosio replacement but since we're looking to sign a starting cb i would like someone more consistent.

Another portugese playing on the left with expiring contract linked to Inter?

Grimaldo from Benfica has similar numbers. If the club sells Gosens, it makes sense.

Sell gosens to Wolfsburg who are in a dire need of a left wing back and get Guerreiro on a free. He is perfect for a three man Defence and can also execute the CM role perfectly.

As for Grimaldo he’s already been signed by Leverkusen.

I don't think Gosens wants to go anywhere. He's fit finally and he's getting playing time. Unless the club pushes him out when there's a good offer which is okay for Gosens as well. I doubt Wolfsburg satisfies Gosens.
