Inter vs. Real Madrid would be European royalty meeting each other, even if Real Madrid exist on their own level that nobody else will ever access. I can stomach losing to them. I can't for one minute stand losing to Man City and everything that rotten club represents.

Furthermore, Real Madrid are 8-0 in CL Finals in the CL era. Surely they're due for a loss, right? ...right?

I dont know why anyone should worry about this final. Inter is winning this 100%. It was never in doubt with Inzaghi.

City does not have a CL DNA, they never won it and are always know for faillure there. 2 seasons ago the best chance to win it, then lost in the final against fcking Chelsea. I feel like they are basically the England of CL, while Inter could be the Italy of CL, the unexpected team that went to final.
Inter anyway has won alreadys some CL , we are going to a final to win it and not only to be there, as it always was. So this are the reasons why i think that City could be better for us. Real has won a lot of final (14 from 17), they are the kings of this competition. The only positive thing is that it was Inter to win one of their 3 lost finals. But i have really a bad feeling, i can't see them losing to us.

I said it before but again I prefer City not because they don’t have CL DNA or whatever, we match their style better IMO. We’re usually underperformed when playing against Real.

We should want to avoid Real. Even Zanetti said so. Rodrygo and Vini have absolutely massacred us every time we’ve played them and I have no reason to believe that wouldn’t happen again. Furthermore, they have a seasoned, class midfield who know what they’re doing and can play at different tempos. I could care less if we beat them in a final 60 years ago.

I’ll take my chances against British arrogance with their media absolutely heaping pressure on them non stop.

Agree with the general consensus here. I want nothing to do with Madrid in a CL final. I don’t care if on paper City are stronger. Madrid’s mentality in finals is unmatched. I also particularly don’t want anything to with Ancelotti. Inzaghi won’t be able to out game plan him.

Madrids midfield in particular has always given us fits. I can just see Modric, Kroos and them boys taking the ball and hiding it for long stretches. Then boom a goal out of nothing. City is more formulaic in their approach which I think makes them slightly easier to game plan for.

I want City to make it to finals. We can do better against Haaland, KDB and Gundogan, than against Vinni junior, Benzema, Rodrygo. Valverde. Modrich and Kroos. Real's goalie is super strong too. And they have a Cl winning experience for so many years.
