A couple of flukes to be honest. First the pass was probably for Dzeko, then given how Dimarco kicked the ball I'm not sure he wanted it to go in that direction.

But who cares... a goal is a goal.

Motm for me although Lukaku registers 2 assists. When he is on form, he is the one man midfield and today he is omnipresent in controlling the game. He moves tirelessly, he is always available for pass, he is quick in closing down nazio, and almost scores 2 goals alas both are closely wide.

Easily the best player on the pitch today, a lot better than how he played against Benfica.

Players like Onana, Darmian, Barella and Lukaku being in form = giving me hope

game over if he is sold. I mean even for crazy money that just kind of us giving up. Bastoni I am cool with him(if he doesn't sign an extension) or Lautaro leaving but Barella really the engine of this team, young and Italian. Would be crazy to let him go

when he scored against Benfica Paramount Plus (has the rights in the US) said he already a Liverpool player haha.

I disagree, but he's really good when we have the space for him to roam forward.

Barella is still, until now, is overrated as fuck. After Brozo (old and slowly declining) Barella is the most logical to sell.

People don't even realize how good this guy is. Pass, cross, shoot, defend, press, he does it all and always everywhere on the pitch. Like Lautaro only when he goes will we value him properly and miss him.
