What kinda boost is this guy gonna give? Is he gonna hire hookers for the players or what?... i just remembered he's broke, so probably not... fuck off already.

Some vouchers of free nuru massage slots I believe  hopefully he is not that broke to do it himself then our players will vomit on the way out before Benfica will crush them.

If I was in the squad and saw the President travelling with the team, it would not give me a boost. It would serve as a reminder how I need to get out of Inter as soon as possible.

Steven Zhang obviously overestimates and thinks too highly of himself.
That's usually the trend with the rich people.

FIRST HEARING IN DEBT DISPUTE BETWEEN INTER’S ZHANG AND CHINESE BANK
Inter’s Champions League clash with Benfica isn’t the only appointment for Nerazzurri president Steven Zhang, as he’ll also be involved in the first hearing at the Court of Milan in a debt dispute with China Construction Bank.

Calciomercato.com details how the Chinese bank want to recover more than €300m owed to them by the Inter president, and they’ve taken the case to the Court of Milan.

China Construction Bank have already sued Zhang in Hong Kong – where he was ordered to repay the debt – and in the United States, and now they’re asking for the Court of Milan to annul Inter’s resolution to not pay Zhang’s salary.

If the ruling in Hong Kong is recognised in Italy, China Construction Bank could get their hands on any assets in the country that could be traced back to Zhang, including debts owed to him by Inter or shares in the club.

This is not the only financial concern for Zhang and Inter, as US fund Oaktree are waiting to be repaid over €300m as well, with the deadline for this debt being May 2024.

Glad to hear what Inter fans present in Portugal were shouting

"DEVI VENDERE!" = "MUST SELL!"

I dont really get what happens in the case of the court ruling that Inter goes to the creditors - i guess its probably partial amount since itll be to fulfill the debt rather than security, but i dont know how that will work with Oaktree having security of Inter as well. Like, if your house is mortgaged as security to 5 different banks, who wins in the end :D

We have a squad capable of going for the next 3 years in top2 serie a.
He knows that if we do not qualify for CL then we will dominate serie a,
so his loan will get extended. next year he will clear the squad becuase
we don't need lukaku to dominate in Italy. Gaglia, Dumfries and Correa
are bound to leave this year, we will get some refreshments and big
transfers will happen only next year.
That's why we will probably hear less news about the sale of a club in the
next year or two. The opportunity will come if the project succeeds and
we'll be true CL contender every year.

Oaktree would still take us, like we are pledged as a collateral in the oaktree loan. Remember this law suit is agains steve and not Suning or the Zhangs or the holding company that owns inter. So how much of inter is even owned by Stevie? Last time i checked this whole thing was stevies problem and not the Zhangs....
I would be fucken shocked if anything happens to inter other than us being ordered to pay zhangs salary directy to the chinese construction bank.

Ah, yeah, thats a really good point - if its a personal debt of his and its not an asset directly owned by him.

cheers

When asked today about selling the club he said "We're not talking to anyone at the moment" which is very different than the "We have no intention to sell" he's been saying in the past.

"Steven Zhang Enters “Fab Four” Of Inter Milan Presidents To Have Reached Penultimate Stage Of Champions League

Steven Zhang has succeeded in becoming the fourth ever Inter President to guide the team to the semifinals of either the Champions League.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Nerazzurri President joins the likes of Angelo and Massimo Moratti as well as Ivanoe Fraizzoli to reach the penultimate stage of Europe’s top club competition.

After seeing out their quarterfinal tie against Benfica with a 3-3 draw, meaning a 5-3 win in the tie on aggregate, Inter are set to face AC Milan in a two-legged Milan derby tie for a place in the biggest match in European club football in June.

The last time Inter faced off against the Rossoneri at that stage of the competition was in twenty years ago 2003, when Massimo Moratti was President.

The Nerazzurri lost that tie as Milan went on to the final where they beat Juventus, although Moratti would later go on to guide the team to the final in 2010, where they beat Bayern Munich to secure the European Treble.

Moratti was the third ever Nerazzurri President to guide the team to the semifinals of Europe’s top competition, although the first of the Champions League era.

During the European Cup era there had been Moratti’s father Angelo, who guided the team all the way by winning the competition twice in succession during the mid-1960s.

Then, there was Ivanoe Fraizzoli, who took Inter to the final of the 1971-72 edition of the competition, having beaten Celtic in the semifinals before losing to Ajax in the final.

Fraizzoli would also get Inter into the penultimate stage of the competition in 1981, although they fell at that hurdle against Real MADRID. "

It's a shame what happened with Suning. They've took us far in fairness to them and they were happy to invest in us.
It's a shame they blew up so spectularly in China and are now fucked, or else we could have been in for a good time. I'll never criticise his lack of trying, but they just can't support us anymore

Lord Zhang marches everywhere like that. He does it to instill in the club staff a sense of urgency and efficiency.
Obviously, he needs to rethink his strategy because the players on the pitch play with little urgency or efficiency.

WHY INTER PRESIDENT ZHANG WAS INITIALLY STOPPED FROM ENTERING EMPOLI STADIUM

Inter president Steven Zhang was not recognised by staff at Stadio Carlo Castellani and was initially stopped from entering to watch the match against Empoli.

The Nerazzurri cruised to a 3-0 win away to the Tuscan outfit last weekend, with goals coming from Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, allowing the team to bounce back after a run of poor domestic form.

Zhang has started to grow into a much-maligned figure at Inter due to the club’s delicate financial position, which has stopped them from capitalising on their Scudetto success in the 2020-21 season.

As reported by La Repubblica, Zhang was not recognised as he entered the Stadio Carlo Castellani due to his ‘rapper-style’ clothing, leading the staff to stop him from taking to his seat.

Perhaps the reason Steven wanted to bring Lukaku back was his relationship with Jay-Z. :D

Inter Milan President Steven Zhang has confirmed that Simone Inzaghi will stay as coach next season
“There’s no reason for us to change coach.”
“We’re preparing to start a third season with,” he said of Inzaghi.
“It’s difficult to describe the satisfaction we feel,” Zhang said of reaching the Champions League final.
“I’ve been here for seven seasons,” he looked back. “Our goal is always to win.”

“We avenged what happened twenty years ago,” he said of the Nerazzurri going out to Milan in the Champions League semifinals in 2003. “This is a night I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
Zhang also noted that “I haven’t spoken to my father yet. I’m about to call him.”

The Inter President also revealed which Inter player always believed that the team could reach this point.
“The only one who believed in the Champions League at the start of the season was Lukaku, since the start of the summer.”

Inter’s hidden messages to Conte after win over Milan

President Zhang offered more interesting quotes in his post-match interview with Sky Sport Italia praising the ‘calm’ Inzaghi, the only coach he’s worked with that ‘never asks for any player.’

In this case, it was easy to spot the dichotomy with Inzaghi’s predecessor Antonio Conte who won the Serie A title in 2020-21 – the only one in the Suning era – but left the club only a few weeks later in disagreement with plans to sell some of their biggest assets to balance the books.

Juventus, Chelsea and Tottenham directors – and fans – also know how demanding Conte is when it comes to transfer and Inzaghi’s ‘greatest quality’, calmness, is surely something the ex-midfielder fails to show.
Sure he didn`t ask for Acerbi? What about Correa? 🤭
