He should gtfo once the season is over even if we would win CL miraculously. Inter needs an authoritative coach who has clear ideas and doesnt always depend on luck and circumstances.

You can count on fingers these matches where Inter looked like a proper team, be it a defensive display or offensive.

I'm done with his shit.
If he wins us CL I wouldnt mind if he stays here next 5 years having mediocre results after that. You know what CL means for Inter fan.. We should be all happy that we witnessed that in 2010. I dont think we are gonna witness that again in our lifetime. And there is no way he can win CL with this squad, thats impossible lol

A UCL final and top 4 finish are is the only thing that saves his job imo. Cassano was more or less right all along.

I mean thats just kind of being a spiteful little itch..... from Cassano. OMG 3 Italian teams made it then his negative ass is they will all be eliminated.

Potentially 2 in the semis and 1 in the final. FKing Bayern has like like 9 finals and are one of the best teams in the world.

I mean I would love us to make it to the final but doubt we could win so would prob cheer for Napoli to win it all. Tho super funny to win with a coach who we thought wasn't good enough and paid for 2 seasons to go on vacation

I just don't get what the plan would be moving forward without him. We can't afford to strengthen his system, so how are we going to do this under another manager who will most likely not be playing 3-5-2?

We can probably make a big sale or 2 and buy cheap but thats up to how much money gets allocated towards the transfer budget.

Why? What has he shown the last couple of months that would justify him being our coach next season? We will not reach UCL final and even if we did that's not because we are so good but because we are unbelievable lucky with our draws and results.

That is not the point. We might still be proud of winning the CL but still too risky to build something on Inzaghi's shoulder. His football is not sustainable in Serie A and we might risk losing everything once we do not qualify top4.

who can come and do better with the roster? I mean Conte, Pochettino, Algeri, Tuchel, Mourniho..... are they going to drop 10m+ on one of these guys with not enough to bring in quality players?

I prefer to give Motta a shot than bring one of these dudes in or keeping Inzaghi. Who ever we bring needs to give us a top 4 finish + use youth players without needing 50-100 million in transfer to achieve that.

Spaletti is winning the league playing attacking football. So you don't have to play like Conte, Allegri etc. to win the title.
However I have doubts if Inzaghi knows how to set his team to play or he just has some vague idea to "go forward" without some concrete attacking patterns because this season it looks exactly like he has no clue how should Inter play; or the players aren't implementing his ideas.

Napoli play attacking football but they also have best defence of the league. You don't win this league if you don't have a good defensive setup.

Spaletti is a good coach actually, it was a clown football club president zhang to make him and his tactics like a fool. once he get a real president in the name of De Laurentis, he deliver. that's the difference lead by a real president and a clown one.

Don't have one.

This is the key right here. Every single coach that even has an ounce of sense knows he has to have reasonably good defense if they want a chance for a title.

Inzaghi not only that he doesn't have it, I don't think he even has awareness of it. I m yet to hear any interview where he says he is preoccupied about how much we concede, which btw is by far our biggest problem, and not the mentality or motivation as he likes to put it.

And that pretty much sums up the levels on which he operates as a coach...

Just like Inter had the best attack and best defence when they won with Conte. There is a certain standards that make THE team to win it

If you talking about tournaments you're right. But Inzaghi showed this season in Serie A it's not sustainable to keep him. He can't motivate the players enough. His subs are off and it seems he just lost the dressing room.

It doesn't make sense to fire him now but we both should go another way in the summer.

As a long time Inzaghi supporter, my biggest pet peeve with him is not motivation, not defending is not an consideration nor his subs, nor all the normal listed accusations on FIF.

It is rather he doesn't care about or observe enough the players' status or their true limitation of style; to me he does not seem to evaluate a players' attributions or fitness for his tactics; he merely plugs them in. This might cause by the belief of stabilizing the locker room (e.g. Handa) or personal preferences or blind impression, I am not sure of the cause, but the behavior explains the lack of rotation, players trouble executing the strategies or tactics.
(The subbing booked player off is also a good example of so, it is like no extra evaluation on the player of the odds of another yellow card, or any other adjustments)

He has very good tactics, but he doesn't tinker around it when the other factors are not align with it, like no players are able to carry the role etc.; however, I am not sure if this is entirely on him, cause that also indicates the club is not supporting him with the right resources/players. e.g. None of our strikers can do counter football at this point, unless they pick back up their fitness or so.

Sacchi's comment on him after the Porto game was very spot on, also did acknowledge him as a potential great coach, but improvements are needed; I really want him to success and grow with us, and also find a way to integrate the young players into the roster.

The only replacements I would accept would be Mancini and Ancelotti with our current budget, which is impossible at this moment.

Don't fucking bring Cunte back.

I'll go with Inzaghi if the club intend to bring Conte back. I think it's totally wrong to change the coach every two seasons rather provide them better resource. When spalletti was here, I was totally support him and I was against the idea of bringing Conte here and I believed he could have had better ending if we gave him better resources as Napoli did to him this season.
I think the problem is management who are not able to provide right resource and our situation is not going to change as long as our management is not changed.
