JUVENTUS CLOSELY MONITORING KANTE SITUATION AT CHELSEA

N’Golo Kante seems destined to leave Chelsea when his contract expires next summer and Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation.

The 31-year-old Frenchman has been with the Blues since 2016 and was a core part of the squad over the last few years, but things have started to look difficult recently. Kante has only made two appearances this season, missing every game since August 14 due to a hamstring injury. With less than a year left on his contract, Chelsea seem willing to let the Frenchman leave.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are interested in picking up Kante on a free transfer next summer, should he not pen a new contract with Chelsea. It wouldn’t be an easy deal, however, as a number of clubs around Europe are also keen on the 31-year-old.

Last season, Kante missed 16 matches across all competitions through injury and this campaign he’s already been absent for 14.

NAPOLI’S DE LAURENTIIS UNDER INVESTIGATION IN FALSE INVOICING CASE
The Naples Public Prosecutor’s Office has reportedly asked for a one-year prison sentence for Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for his involvement in a false invoicing case.

Il Mattino details how the prosecutors are investigating a number of figures in the world of football, including Atlanta president Antonio Percassi and Monza director Adriano Galliani, for their involvement in alleged non-existent transfers and false invoicing.

The accusation of false invoicing stems from the relationship between a club, a player and his agent – until the day before signing the contract, the agent managed the player’s interests, but when pen was put to paper they took on the role of a consultant at the purchasing club. The effect of this allowed the player to cut the salary costs for his agent, with the net effect of the deal being seen in the club’s balance sheets.

Regarding De Laurentiis in particular, the judges will examine the transfer of Emanuele Calaiò, who was signed by Napoli from Siena in July 2013 in a deal worth around €1.25m. Calaiò had previously spent three and a half years with the Partenopei before leaving for Siena in July 2008.
Now that Napoli are leading Serie A, they pull out this case from the drawer.

Who cares about their mercato? Aren't they ahead of us in Serie A?

Grading their mercato does not count for shit. Unless you are trying to console yourself that we had a better mercato which is the only competition we could conceivably beat them in.

LoL. Milan are only 3 points ahead, which is small gap considering how shit we are against bigger teams. They tend to drop easy points here and there, so if we improve our results vs. top teams, we can overtake them at the end.

It's actually the opposite. Their bad mercato makes our season an even big failure. We're comfortably beaten by last season Milan without Kessie. Utter embarrassment. It only highlights how much we have regressed.

None of us need to be reminded of that. It is evident in every game we play.

I'm not sure how reliable FourFourTwo is, but they say Liverpool and Chelsea are looking to sign Kvaratskhelia. His agent has valued him around €100 million.

they are so ahead of us that they can sell half their starting line up and still be champion. Only thing that makes me happy is that fking team are choke artist and going to laugh when they somehow don't win the title

Don't know why you guys are being so down on our own team. Yes, We are quite average this season. But there is only Napoli that look proper better than us. And even they might have a sticky spell.

Losing to every single top team and conceding 20 goals in the league so far might have something to do with it.

They are the champions and we are mere 3 points behind them. Maybe wait for the season end to judge how much we have regressed.
