Never had this feeling before. We’re out of the group stage after Matchday 1 and that’s not even an exaggeration one single bit. Barcelona are better than Bayern this year. Was always going to be tough but this year not even the most optimistic Inter fan should have any hope. Pretty depressing 😩

The way Bayern play is at a completely different level than us. I was paying attention to the way they were attacking, moving in the box, positioning, etc. The way that team can create chances is day and night to what we do. We are hopeless on that front. We are horrible with the ball moving forward.

What is everyone so upset about? You'd think people would have realized by now that top European teams only need to play at half intensity to run rings around us. Personally I'm satistied that we only conceded two goals and hope it won't be any worse against Barcelona.

This remind me of X-Men: Days of Future Past when the X-Men managed to cope with Sentinels at the start but eventually the latter trounced them easily due to superior individual. It only took a single acceleration of Sane or Coman to leave our defenders scrambling. When you combine it with superior team cohesion, we really do not have a chance in this contest. This is the reality check that we are very far beyond the level of European's powerhouses.

Let's lower our expectations after first couple of games. Top 4, semi-final for the Coppa and deep run in EL are the most realistic outcome. Please, banish your scudetto/ domestic treble dreams.

Top 4 is too much for us, we are a europe league level team and not even the best one either...

Honestly some posts are really exaggerating.

Losing at home to Bayern is no shame. The way it happened is very disappointing but this is nowhere near as humiliating as some posts suggest. Helsinborg is embarrassing. Beer Sheva is embarrassing. Failing to beat PSV, Slavia and Gladbach at home is embarrassing. Losing to Barcelona b team is embarrassing.

We haven't beaten a top team at home since Tottenham.

I understand this but one of my takeaways from Spalletti's 1st season in the UCL and Conte's 2 with us were we were always a very physical imposing sort of team that made some tough tackles but also knew how to play football.Every opponent big or small knew they had a fight on their hands with us.And in general we went toe to toe with all the teams we played those 3 years as well as last season.

However Limone's teams are far softer than Spalletti's and Conte's.This Bayern game we never went in hard on them.There was no fight whatsoever.That is very worrying.I don't see us physically imposing ourselves on the opponent and letting him know he is in for a fight and must sweat and labour hard for the win.

I may even be willing to sack Limone and bring in Juric just for the physicality his teams play with even though i am unsure how Juric will even handle the pressure.But missing that bite that meanness in our play and being this soft is really worrying and its like we are a proper Limone EL level team already.

There is not a team in the world that would keep Bayern out and not allow them so many shots. Their physicality is just unmatchable and on another level from everyone else. They looked like proper team and we were trying to be worthy opponent.

We have to get some momentum back because currently we are completley out of track, even though there were some glimpses in the match where we opened them up but even when they are played their speed and physicality covers it.

And yes fuck Correa, cuff him to the BBQ and don't let him anywhere near stadium.

you watch us running headless in the field and Limone jumping and shouting on the side you must be like, he just tells them to go play football, like you all know how to play, and hope for the best until 60` min, just to make some random subs
