I have zero desire for a buyback option. There's no way this guy is ever good enough for Inter. Just take a sell-on percentage as part of the deal.
OK but why would any club agree to that?

Sassuolo even made sure they have a release clause instead of buy-back clause, just to open him up for the entire market.
Anyway I think Pina is holding out for Atalanta so I doubt he says yes to this even though it’d be good for us and probably him as he’d most likely be a guaranteed starter in Salerno.
I got the impression Pinamonti was holding out for Atalanta until they make the Muriel sale. Let`s see what Carnevali will offer him, as there is no agreement with the player yet.

This fucking turd still here?
Jesus fucking Christ.
Can’t wait for this overrated prick to leave. I can’t believe he took us to the cleaners with that contract demand few years back.

He received that absurd contract because we forced him to move to Genoa as part of our plusvalenza games.

Sky confirmed he will have medical on Thursday before signing the contract with Sassuolo, 30M release clause included as mentioned.

No report so far about his salary, I guess ~2.5M NET?

TBH I don`t understand the disrespect towars Pina here on FIF. He always acted as the club wanted to and he is bringing in 20M out of nothing. He could still develop into a good forward, he is a serious professional and italians age like good wine.

For the best. He might be able to one day lead the line for a Fiorentina or Lazio, but that's his ceiling.

He is on pretty high wages so this is def a win. I thought this kid was going to be our youngest golden handshake

The deal is apparently loan + obligation to buy and they pay the 20m€ in 4 years.

True Inter-structured deal but now we are in the receiving end.

Well, it doesn't really matter I guess as we are not in an acute cash crisis or anything. I guess we can shift this sale to this fiscal year next summer anyway.

I'm gonna quote my own post when he scores against us because our ex-players like to do that.

It's going to count as a sale for the current fiscal year.

But will it count like that in Italian accounting standards too? In UEFA standards it is indeed counted as a permanent transfer.

I'm just asking because I don't quite get these loan + obligation structured deals IF they are counted like UEFA counts them. What's the difference and how does it matter? Payment schedules can be agreed however liked irregardless of the structure of the deal.

I think Marotta managed to negotiate with Lega serie A some weeks back to actually change the rule and count in the current fiscal year the Loan + obligation deals.
