Even Bologna rejected ManU’s advances for Arnautović , but this Inter is aiming to win the league and be competitive in the CL.

they offered 7 million for their star player right before the season started. They have no money and no way to replace him before the start of the season. Now that player might do a transfer demand.

Like if Man U just offered more money or a prospect on loan it would have been a fair offer. They are jut like give us your player for free and have fun in Serie B next season.

So gobbi can sell rabiot for €15/18 million while being in his last year and the second highest wages in serie a but our super mercato team can't sell a single piece of deadwood for a decent fee....
Byproduct of the way the world still sees Juventus despite them being mediocre recently.

Dybala instead of Lukaku would have been a better choice financially. Dybala is significantly cheaper per season, in theory meaning we could have properly reinforced the defense.

I get it, though. Our biggest weakness last season was at striker and Lukaku is simply a better goal scorer than Dybala. You can't rely on Martinez to be the lead dog; he's too much of a spaz.

Not quite true. Lukaku earns 12 mln gross, and Dybala is around 10, and with all bonuses included it can go even up to 12 mln.

The difference is that we would own Dybala whereas Lukaku is obviously on loan. There's also the €8m loan fee we paid to Chelsea.

That's a one-year €20m cost for an asset we don't even own.

Yes, but Dybala's agent also got some money. Maybe it's not the rumored 10 mln, but if it's even the half, still total cost it will be around 15-18 mln., so it's not big difference. Owing Dybala is not so beneficial actually, because he is injury prone and earns fat salary, and therefore he will be almost unsellable. Lukaku from other hand, could be arranged for one more year loan, as per reports.

At Inter Dybala would have earned 5m + 1m bonus net.

Lukaku is more expensive but it's only for one year. That is huge risk mitigation. And let's be honest, like @ADRossi mentioned, Lukaku is much more safe-choice when it comes to goal scoring which we simply need.

Dybala has the capacity to score some goals and also increase scoring around him. Lukaku not so much, he mostly enjoys the fruit of others' labour.

The issue isn't this season but the next one where we'll have no budget for a striker and only be with Martinez and Correa. And we know that Lautaro could be sold while we're not very happy with Correa. So 4+1 new strikers could be bought with like 40m which would be the 1/3 of what we could gain from sales.

Not true. Dybala brings a lot of revenue with himself. Just look at how much Roma gained just by selling his shirts in one day.

The fact that fans of Roma buying Dybala's shirts like crazy, does not mean that the same would have been at Inter.

Clubs hardly make any money from kit sales. It's a drop in the bucket. The vast majority of that money goes to Nike.
Absolutely, but I've read that Roma sold over 500k Dybala's jerseys. Even, if they get around 10-20%, it still makes a good sum, which brought them couple of millions.

Roma's kit deal actually is structured that they make more money if they sell more kits. The annual fee from New Balance is very low however. But usually clubs do not make much money out of the kit sales, not even 20%.
