On the contrary, I think FIF suffers from greatly underestimating Milan sometimes. Maldini has done remarkably well for a rookie DS, he has a clear plan & strong convictions. These are not excuses, its an opinion.

You are criticising Milan for missing out on Botman, when they already have Kjaer as a back up CB, followed by Gabbia. Inter play with 3 CB's and our first back up is D'Ambrosio, followed by Dimarco - both fullbacks. De Vrij doesn't even have a back up. Its not even the same level of a problem. So its only fair that Inter get more critique on this one than Milan.
I am criticizing maldini for milan for missing their set targets. Whether they need them is irrelevant regarding the failure to close the deals that he had work on for months...

Thats fair. And he should get some criticism as their summer has been a bit underwhelming (plus they have some crap players to get rid of), but I was just putting things in perspective. Botman would have been a great signing for them, but missing out on him wasn't that critical due to the emergence of Kalulu last season. If I was in Maldini's place, I would focus on a quality RW more than a replacement for Kessie or Romagnoli. I guess they could use De Ketelaere on the right, he seems quite versatile & Adli is impressing as an attacking midfielder so far.

Overall, I have been impressed by what Maldini has achieved over the last 2 seasons for a rookie DS. Cutting their wage bill by half & winning the Scudetto. And I wouldn't discount Milan for defending their Scudetto. They have another month to get reinforcements, and they don't need to sell any of their young stars. Momentum & trajectory can make a difference. This season is tough to call, I will hold my judgement until the window is over.

When it comes to Milan people really underestimate the effect of Pioli on their project. Milan always made this kind of signings under Elliot. First with Leonardo. Then with Maldini and Boban. Now with Maldini and Massara. Before hiring Pioli, their management looked clueless and without direction. It's Pioli who found roles in his system for their underperforming players and was patient with their youngsters and helped them grow.

Defence? Bonucci and Bremer.
Midfield Zakaria, Rabiot, Pogba...
People easy forget how we were lucky against them last season. And they got Kostić now. He, Chiesa, Vlahović and DiMaria gonna eat whole league.
Would u take bonucci zakaria rabiot for Inter? Lol
Vlahovic is overrated. Jogba? Really? This isnt 2013 where he had a worldclass midfield protecting him.
Oh yea 34 year old di maria who signed a 1 year contract which screams no ambition just pay me so i can leave

So we're walking to this Scudetto? It's that easy?
Wouldnt say walking but we will dominate almost everyone outside the top 3 easy. We are better on every single aspect of the game. If we are consistent and do well before the WC then yes.
Also, Juve is still so bad with allegri. Csnt believe people think they will dominate the league. Its laughable

Strange you see Pioli as the key while I see ibra as the key like I said in my earlier points I don't see a team where there is attack ideas and movements like conte, it's literally willed to win by moments of brilliance from players such as Theo or Leao. I think Ibra has had a much larger effect on this team being a player manager Pioli is perfect combination with ibra because he allows ibra to take over team talks and doesn't have an ego.

This year will tell us a lot about Milan. They're project won last season which is fantastic for the. Because they got players to win so young. With that said these young players got a year with no fans on their backs thanks to COVID so mistakes weren't a problem. Personally I feel they will suffer this season the most.

Romano says that PSG are very close to get Fabian Ruiz from Napoli.

It looks like they will lose another key player.

Even worse than Inter's mercato.

Ruiz could be perfect for our midfield , but we are pennyless bums these days with our sponsor black taped on the pitch.

25-30M€ well atleast DeLa ain't selling him to Rube.
