Agreed completely. Given a choice, I'm taking Bastoni - Skriniar - Milenkovic. Not only would that eliminate de Vrij from of the equation, it would allow Skriniar to play in the center where he was remarkably good last season. I expected him to struggle a little bit but was great as middle CB.

Sadly, I simply do not trust de Vrij anymore. On that note, I don't know what people are expecting here. Is it possible for him to recover and have a great season? Sure, stranger things have happened. But de Vrij's contract situation and his relationship with the club has only deteriorated further. Hard to imagine he'll suddenly develop the mental strength to significantly pick up his game.

Yes, on the ball (is that grammatically correct @Black Knight? or should it be "with the ball") he is indeed quite good. Issue is off it, and as a defender, that's a pretty significant part of his game (re: what Uni and thatdude said).

NEW APPOINTMENT - Inter-Pro Sesto is the third joint training session of the pre-season for Simone Inzaghi's team. At 18.30 the teams will take to the field in Appiano Gentile, for a sort of match. Not a real friendly match: that will be Saturday (8.30 pm) in Cesena with Lyon (see article). As usual, Inter's joint training sessions are not broadcast live on TV (nor in streaming) and are played behind closed doors. In the evening, the company is expected to publish a video with the images. The precedents were 10-0 at the Milanese (see highlights) and 8-1 at Novara (see highlights). Pro Sesto, which plays in Serie C and is coached by Matteo Andreoletti, has four players who have recently arrived from Inter: Riccardo Boscolo Chio, Andrea Moretti, Nicolò Radaelli and David Wieser.

Also, Skriniar the only one showing passion, even in pre-season, after just arriving at camp. But no, ship him off.

It's from all the running, and he plays with clowns who don't run, so it messes up with his concentration. Just ignore the fact it's the beginning of the match :lol:

Skriniar's on the video for like 5 seconds, idk if id call that as the only one showing passion... hes also been at the camp for 3 weeks, like most players.

It's normal to be passionate. He will take 6 mln from Inter, or 8 from PSG at the end.

I think in forthcoming friendlies, Inzaghi will use primary the players, which will be in the Inter's squad for the next season. It's looks like Agoume is not a part of it, for now. So, he'll not play anymore most probably
