Chelsea fans are now speculating this whole Lukaku's Inter return saga is something both Lukaku and Zhang had planned all along to save Inter from deep financial crisis. Lukaku underperforming at Chelsea and causing a ruckus with his infamous Sky Italia interview were all parts of the plan. Now that's some crazy conspiracy theory.
its perhaps weird that he's back at Inter, but underperforming at Chelsea is nothing new for a player. Especially for an attacker. Also, if u told me that they will play with just Lukaku in front, I'd tell u that he wont be as good as here... And even as shit as he was, he was still their best goalscorer. Just shows you, what kinda season they had.

The fact that Lukaku still being their top goalscorer last season despite having plenty of inactive periods due to injuries and being left out of the team from time to time as a punishment for unsettling the team says a lot about Chelsea's problems in the attacking department last season (or rather for a few years now). When was the last time they had a striker that could guarantee 20+ goals a season anyway? Diego Costa?

So much hype when Lukaku returned to Chelsea last season. They thought they had finally got THE missing piece in attack. Where did it go wrong? Part of it went to Tuchel for expecting a striker that thrives in counter attack to function as a target man, and part of it went to Lukaku himself for displaying quite a number of those Lakaka performances (particularly the Man City game) throughout the season as well.

If it was planned it would beppe and rom. No chance stevie comes up with that plan.
That video of Zhang welcoming Lukaku's return at the rooftop of Inter HQ reeks of a successfully executed complot that had been meticulously planned for some time. They both had that "I told you, it works" grin on their faces. :D

Nah, conspiracy aside. This is all Chelsea's own stupidity. They had every right to keep Lukaku and let him rot on the bench next season. But that would make them look stupid as well. They allowed themselves to make it look like we scammed them. But if I were a Chelsea fan, I would want to believe in this conspiracy theory too and demand the club to fine Inter for attempting such a slick scam operation.

Love this, players already training hard for the season and spending time together when they’re not required too. It’s a good sign.
Onana even sleeps at Lukaku's house for now I thought. At least they had breakfast this weekend with each other. I think it's a good thing for someone like Onana to have Lukaku showing him the way in Italy and Inter. Both seem to be quite emotional guys who really needs to be taking care of and getting pampered.

Wow I didn't believe this. This kinda helps cement in my head that Tuchel doesn't know what to do with attackers. No one has succeeded under him.

Not to take the blame off Rom... he clearly wasn't giving his all either, but there was probably more at play.

looks like the media house is not dead yet

Well it's not as cringeworthy as their other work so yeah, they live on. Perhaps the narrator could have been better, but I guess media house is broke too :D

Btw, what's that thing on Lukaku's head? :D

Now the only thing we don't know is if he'll be mentally prepared and how good his stamina is. Also how bad was his injury when he played for Belgium?

Flopped in every big club except Inter, hope it stays that way.
Again, he didn't flopped in Man U. He had a good first season under Mou, where he had scored more than 25 goals in all competitions iirc. After Mou was fired, Ole didn't count too much on Lukaku, as he wanted different kind of forward and the latter was labeled as a flop.
