Conte will 100% leave Spurs next year because he knows winning the EPL there is impossible. My guess is he wants to make it out of the group stages, win a domestic trophy, make top 4, then leave for a better job. The only way a team like Spurs can(eventually) contend would be to spend 2-300 million each year which Levy isn't doing.

Now if Chelsea don't get Kounde and go for Bastoni I could see him making the jump. But I don't see him agreeing to leave for one year of Conte to a club with virtually zero success of winning anything.
I think Chelsea are after Gvardiol?

There's a chance Liverpool goes for Son if they sell Mane and Firmino.
Firmino is staying, but Mane is one foot out of the club already.

I doubt that is the way Conte thinks. I suspect in his mind he believes he can do the impossible & win the EPL with Spurs. Contrary to what most people think, Conte does not need mega millions to win the league title. He improves players by playing a very specific system. If Spurs are willing to spend 100m-ish every season, Conte will get what he needs to challenge for the title.

And so far it looks like Spurs are doing just that.

There is something about Spurs that still doesn't make me trust them - their defence. If Conte somehow fixes that, maybe bring a new CB, they will go far. Their attack of Son-Kane-Kulu is quite atomic. But they need to know how to defend the result. I guess Conte is the right one to do that.

We already had a debate about next EPL season. Liverpool could change drastically, United is an unknown, Arsenal is good, but not great, Chelski and City main contenders. Spurs could surprise.

The kid is smart. Why go to 4th or 5th best club in EPL, with history of not spending money on players, not getting to the top forever and coach, who may not be there in year or two.

Wait until Zhang finds out when you consistently sell your best players, other good players will avoid joining you and your current players morale will go to shit. This is unbelievably toxic with how persistent they are and pushy with demanding star players leave. At least last summer Hakimi nor Lukaku gave pushback to getting sold. Now the whole team will be looking over their back.

Imagine going to work where your boss actively seeks to get rid of you, directly and indirectly aggressively pushing you to leave. Must be disrupting for Inter's best players these past few years.

idk if i find it funny or sad that this has to be said by inzaghi.
Or maybe it's just media hype around the subject? They need to find a new angle every other day to this story because nothing is really happening or the reporters at least don't know about it.
