I love this thread. Two weeks ago he was already a contender for the Ballon d’Or for some and now people are discussing if we should strip his captaincy because he didn't post on Instagram after our loss.
Yeah, I meant: Going out so early with that team was worse than Italy's disaster or the German performances in the last Word Cups.
Didn't they lose twice against Chile? Edit: Yes. And 1997 against Peru, twice against Uruguay and four times against Brazil.
When you look at that team this result was a lot worse than Italy in 2010 or Germany in the last two WC.
You just have to look at Argentina's performances in the Copa: It failed to win one of 40 tournaments from 1995 to 2021 although they made it to the final pretty often.
1. Shouldn't this thread be renamed in "World Cup bid"?
2. Infantino just made it here kinda official that the WC 2034 will be in Saudi Arabia. AND as always I'm shocked that our club legends like Zanetti support every bullshit FIFA makes.
All of the players you mentioned played in games against weaker sides than Roma lost or achieved only a draw.
And beside that: Isn't a trainer also responsible for the roster?
I defended Mou for a long time but he didn't do anything to impress in the last years. Lost the team in Chelsea and lost the team in Manchester. What he did at Tottenham could have been done from any manager - and same goes for Roma.
Two European finals, yes ... But what I remember most about...
