We need an upgrade on Motta (who i like alot) right now Monti is not the upgrade.Lass is good but he doesnt serve the same purpose, that said i would like him here because all our hardworkers are 30+.

i hope montolivo signs contract extension and stays in fiorentina!! or at least go to juventus
we need to start looking at quality players.. enuf with mediocore players. we dnt need bench warmers.. we need starters

15 mil?!! for an average out of contract midfielder?!! u gotta be kidding me!!

sahin wasnt out of contract and was 10x better than montolivo and yet he costs 10 mil!!

i wont pay more than 5 mil for him

i watched him yesterday... there is absolutly nothing special abt him... he is good for mid table teams not big teams like inter

if we want to compete on international levels we shud stop looking at players like montolivo

You never know, we might even pay 20 mln to get him. Or 15 mln + Coutinho.

I'm cool with this* and you should too. It's not the first time Inter has been linked with top class players and players like Monto and we ended up with the latter. YOU'RE ACTING LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING NEW :palm:

sorry but im not cool with it.. im not cool with it at all

how many times are we gonna lose players to madrid and barca? how r we gonna compete on international levels if we keep buying pandevs and montolivos? and then wat? barca and madrid stay best teams in europe for ever?

how many times are we going to miss on players like sahin and affelay? plz dont bore me with "the player wanted to go to the ohter club"!!

did kaka want to go to madrid? no!! but guess wat.. he went to madrid at the end
did dzeko want to go to mancity? no
did torres want to go to chelsea? no
did robiniho want to go mancity? no
half of the players in man city dnt want to be in mancity

it works otherway around too
aguero wants to move to another club so he can play in CL but the club doesnt let him
teves wants to move out of mancity but the club doesnt let him
sanchez wants to leave udinese but the club doesnt let him
fabregas wants to go to barca but arsenal doesnt let him
maicon wanted to go to madrid but we didnt let him

what im trying to say is that the club that owns the player has the final say in the transfer (best example is kaka to madrid transfer)
affelay went to barca for only 3 mil!!! if we had offered him a better contract and 1 or 2 milions more to PSV im sure he was playing at inter now. barca might be a better team but when u offer him inter with better contract and a chance to be a starter + sneijder effect im sure he wud've agreed.

again sahin the same thing, wat if we'd offered 1 or 2 millions more to dortmond + the chance of being a starter?
just think abt it logically, there is madrid which is a better team but there r 5 others in that team for the same position, and there is inter where he can be a starter right away, also he wud be making his boyhood club a favor by making them more money.
its not like inter is the worst team in europe, we r still one of the best european teams. offering the player or the blub that owns the player little bit more than what others r offering and the player wud be ours.

ok u guys say affelay and sahin wanted to go to other clubs and there was no way they cud've ended up in inter? fine!! wat abt likes of ganso and sanchez? they want to come to inter!! cassano? mascherano?
did mascherano want to go to barca? no he wanted to come to inter and be with benitez but we offered the rediculous deal of muntari+6mil. barca offered a better deal and he went to barca. they didnt go mancity style crazy and offer a big contract.. just offered a little more than what we were offering.
offering a little bit more like that and we cud've had affelay and sahin

im not saying go crazy like mancity but paying afew milions more for affelay and sahin is worth it.
we cant just keep losing top players for cheap to the likes of real madrid and barcelona.

being on top has its price. if u want to be a big club u have to challenge big clubs. challenge them on every aspect including players that u bid on. when we keep challenging milan (robben, ganso..etc), we r gonna stay at the same level as milan. do u really want that?

our team is full of other teams rejects and out of contract players.. lets change that around

you're gonna have to show a lot of patience with him, he's no superstar but the potential is there. but then we don't have a great record with youngsters. maybe he and coutinho can buddy and learn from each other.

About Montolivo, 15m is a bit much. how did he do against us yesterday? I'm betting he was mostly AWOL. there hasn't been much improvement since 3 years ago. maybe we can try Rakitic, would cost a bit more but well worth it IMO. He would want to join as well, without question.

With Montolivo, we dont really know how he will be untill he joins us. He could look a lot better with quality players around him who knows. But yes, there are a lot better players around who we couldve signed, but didnt.

I think that we should go for Ever Banega.compare to Montolivo,Banega is much better than him because and much younger also.
Sanchez+Banega=very good mercato.
Tevez+Banega=dreaming mercato.

montolivo for me is a must the guys contract is due to finish in one year which means we would get him for a cheap price.

they guy is quit underrated if u ask me, he would automatically be our second best midfielder on the ball after sneijder, he can pick a pass with accuracy that our other midfielders wouldnt and has a very good shot, he also doesn't neglect his defensive duties.

still i think we need another midfeilder as well, motolivo wouldn't be enough, stakovic is nearing the end of his career and is injury prone as hell, motta is always injured, kharja is bad,obi and mariga are still way to raw

if we get motolivo i would like us to get a midfielder that is good at dribbling and can make good runs in the box

Montolivo is a decent player but I'm worried he might AWOL against the big guns, but he is an improvement over any of our midfielders, but 15m€ on a guy whit only a year on his contract is mad....
I would get also Nasri...the man can pass, and can actually beat a defender and can run with the ball.

___________Eto'o_____
Nasri____________Sanchez
________Sneijder_______
______Cuchu_____Montolivo____
Nagatomo_Samuel__Lucio__Maicon
____________JC_____________

I belive this would be a good enough lineup to compete in the CL.
And it isn't nowhere impossible to create...
Sadly I doubt the management is going to do it.

Anybody can, but nobody gives a damn... :undecide:

meanwhile, we're linked again to Nasri:

Inter target Nasri

Inter are planning a swoop for Samir Nasri if the French star does not agree a new deal with Arsenal this summer, reports claim.

The Serie A giants are on red alert as the 23-year-old enters the final 12 months of his current deal and they believe they can entice the ex-Marseille star to join them in the pursuit of silverware.

Arsenal officials are determined to ensure Nasri does not leave the club as a free agent and hope that the addition of key players this summer can persuade the attacking midfielder that he should commit to the club again.

Nasri could go for as little as £10m this summer as foreign clubs could begin talks about a free transfer as soon as February 2012.

Would be a great signing IMO, but I want to keep Sneijder, too. We should take advantage if possible and sign him - smart move. He's EU, has good experience in Ligue 1 and EPL, used to be labelled as the next Zidane...

meanwhile Real signing Sahin is just painful to watch :|
