when are we going to meet the requirements about italian players? UEFA is tightening the ropes and if we sell Balo, we will have only 4 italian players in our squad, big mistake

Some of many man utd fans telling difference between "cunts" like Cantona, Keane, Rooney, and Balotelli:

Keane had the right mindset on the pitch though, a born leader with a fiery temper. Cantona was arrogant but played with heart and for the club.

Balotelli is still some way more idiotic than both combined. A bad temper, pathetic attitude on the pitch, whose idea of a team game is to whine until he gets a place on the starting eleven.

Er, no, he's really that bad. If you thought Adebayor's attitude stinks on the pitch when things go wrong, Balotelli will make him look good.

Rooney had a temper but his attitude on the pitch is top-notch - selfless, a team player and hates to lose. Balotelli is almost the opposite.

I judge it on what I've seen

I'm afraid you're wasting your time trying to compare him to Rooney, if you're doing that you clearly just don't get what the difference is

And from what I saw there are similar talks like here (must be contegious), that it's all because he is a "victim" of racism in Italy. BTW, I see some of those guys got some knoledge lately :p

So busting up with Materazzi, berating Zanetti and Cambiasso, not following his manager's instructions, wearing Milan jersey on national TV, making for almost daily run-ins with everyone from fans to match officials to opponents to even teammates and all that because he's a black Italian? Really?

A hypothesis to why Mancini would want Balotelli

bear in mind that Mancini worked with him in his debut season. He then was more content to be on the bench and fame was just getting to him.

Nowadays he seems to think he's the second coming of Jesus, should be an absolute starter, doesn't care about teamwork, thinks that some of his teammates and captain are old farts and need to retire, that his manager and fans owe him something, hired an agent who is notorious of getting players out of Inter, clashes with officials, opposing fans, own fans, Totti, Materazzi etc.

In any case atm he seems to thing that everything is as in the song "the world is mine".

I do think Balotelli is not the same Balotelli 3 years ago - he's much worse. If Mancini thinks he can handle him - fine, but having in mind that Shitty have an awful lot of forwards and how Balotelli is content to sit on the bench I won't be holding my breath.

I think that's spot on. Mancini thinks he can handle Balotelli, because he already did. The thing is, it is not the same Balotelli and he is up for a big suprise when Balotelli gets there.

What rule about italian players are you talking about ?

my bad, my source said that it should be 8 players from the same nationality, while it's as Stefan mentions, 8 locally trained players

but if the FIFA implants the requirement of 6 national players obligatory in the first squad lineup then we are screwed

this is for the PL but gives a good idea of how this rules are

They won't. It is final, and it was said so (They are dropping the implemantation of this rule) right before WC started.

Why are you guys so worried about him becoming #1? I don't think he will, because he already thinks he is! It will take a long time until he pulls his shit together (if ever!)... he has to knock his head [not literally] and wake up to reality...
We are INTER, if he ever becomes really good, we can buy him back. But I don't think he will/we will, we are just happy to cash in BIG TIME from almost 0 investment, that's really profitable and smart business! He doesn't care about us right now, why would he care after 10 years?! In my opinion it means nothing that he is our product, just like the Fossati case.

We don't even need to invest 40 mil in the Youth Academy! With 3 mil. Euro you can make all the needed transfers at that level, and we are secured for the next coming years.

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE CLUB.

As long as they replace him with a world class player, i'll be happy. The lack of italians has always been an anoying itch for me though... Ive accepted it. G.Rossi would be a nice signing of course ;)

No Milan player
Very bad for Mario if he joins City. He should go to MU where SAF is a manager who know how to handle and motivate player. With SAF, he has a slim hope of becomming a big name. In Manchester City, he has no hope, will be the second Robinho. Worse than staying at Inter

Every morning I wake up dreading the headline "Balotelli moves to Man City".

Moratti said at the end of last season "Balotelli is staying with us 100%". Those were his exact words. Then there were all these figures thrown around like 100m, 70m, and now he's apparently leaving for 43m euros.

I hope he stays. His talent is undeniable and it's only a matter of time until he gets his head out of his ass. The only question is how long and painful extracting his head from his anus will be due to it's swollen and engorged size.

Look at this comment from one of goal.crap visitors
35 million for dis guy .. Damn Inter are a smart club no wonder . They know Mario is a locker room problem which they have to get rid of . And with 35 million they will go for Mascherano still they will have plenty left and also they got Coutinho who will replace Super Mario .

I really don't know what we should do here... do we really need the money that much? I'm leaning towards the view of keeping him for another season... but only just.

I hope you don't hold onto it, as some kind of an indicator he will stay.

:p

I would regret more if we sold Davide, who has a lot more chance of becoming something special for this club.

ps. I can almost (99%) guarantee I won't regret it ;)
