Give me a ****in break man LOL

You know how many beers you have to drink to be 'under the influence' ? Obviously not, and I'm sure Adri wasn't chugging beer out of a ****in funnel or else we woulda seen those pictures guaranteed, son!!

Now you're going to tell me that you're under the influence after 1 beer, technically yes, if you're a pussy. Adri weighs like 200 lbs hes huge and if he was under the influence he would've been arrested.

Man...you guys are crazy..

1 beer? :D you're hilarious man, seriously!! pictures? :D man, get real! there is no way you can rely on pictures or otherwise say he didn't drink, that's just stupid!

I know you guys like Adriano and hope to see him get better and I don't care if he was drinking that night or not, it's not like we don't want Adriano to get better, but his behavior didn't change all that time he was in Milano, and now in Brazil he's still partying, if he were really serious about his recovery, he'd make a sacrifice at least for a few month dammit! I don't care if it's 1 beer or a fuc-kin lemonade, no one's gonna trust Adriano unless we actually see the improvement... and honestly, I think it's better for all parties if Adriano never comes back, and we move on...

I'm no expert, but if Adriano hasn't pulled any good performance in over 2 years, what makes us beleive that will change? some people are still hanging on to the old Adriano hoping he will come back, to me it's wishing and nothing more, many players "lost it" before, and never made their full potential, there is a countless number of wasted talents, I am afraid Adriano might not recover from this 2.5 fuc-kin years setback :S

You do realise that his agent is hardly a neutral source. Off course he is going to say no alcohol was involved.

The time matters because it shows how serious Adri is about this recovery if he is spending his time in Brazil partying or whether he is spending it seriously to recover. Being out at dawn tells me he isn't taking this serious. I am convinced he was out all night partying like usual . The car accident isn't his fault but it caused adri being caught out again.

Adriano is at Sao Paolo now. They must tell him what is acceptable.

If in fact he didn't drink and didn't crash, there wouldn't have been any news at all. And no sources have said alcohol was involved. Perhaps Adriano has driven at dawn many times!!! :O:O:O

Off course he could celebrate but he needed to do it responsibly which he didn't. Is there any reason why he couldn't have celebrated new years at home with friends and family??

Can you quote a source which says Adriano did not celebrate with family and friends? Can you quote a source which 100% surely is true that tells that Adriano did drink/was D.U.I.ing?

How can you even say that?! Adriano could have easily died in that crash you know. He was probably tired you know and fell asleep at the wheel. And of course it matters what time it is! Adriano had no business being behind the wheel at dawn! He's not on vacation he was sent to Brazil to rehab. Football players have their vacation in June.

Fact is that Adriano is a Sao Paolo player atm. As long as they have given him vacation, he can do what he wants. The rehab period he had with Inter ended at New Year.

So Adriano is grounded from 10pm to 8am or something? Give me a break. He is a free man and can do whatever he wants, really regardless of any eventual vacation period. And now it was vacation. Your boss would never give you a hard time if you drove at dawn while on vacation.

Anyway, neither one of us knows what really happened, but this far the little we know indicate that Adriano hasn't really done much wrong. We're not even sure he caused the accident!

I suggest this thread should be locked till May-June. Then we reopen and discuss what he did in his time at Sao Paolo and about his future.

Having so many posts on his daily life is just sick

lol alot of on loan players are still under contract with inter including Recoba,Andreolli, pasqualle etc.. that doesnt mean they are playing for inter at the time being...until the end of the season adriano isnt an inter player anymore, thus his thread should be moved.

Well I would have never shown up drunk at my job either which Adri has done more than once.;)

No I don't have a source I just don't believe he wasn't drinking and that's based on what has happened in the past.

Adri has again shown a lack of commitment to changing his ways and that's the major problem here.

We're not discussing earlier things are we? But since you brought up something else I assume you don't disagree with me.

That's unfair. I don't get why a car crash at dawn is the proof of Adriano not being committed. He showed enough improvement to qualify for a contract with double reign Brazilian champions Sao Paolo (who also won in 2002 + Club World Cup 2005) which is the most successful team in the Brazilian league from 2000 onwards also winning (2005) and coming second (2006) in CL since the millenium. And there has been no news of him going crazy at a party. The only news was when he took a beer at a concert. Big deal.

He rightly deserves shit for many things he has done. But please make it justified.

He showed absolutely no improvement. Sao Paolo only took him because he's Adriano. If he wanted to show improvement then he wouldn't be up at dawn.

I would love to love Adriano again. I wouldn't care if he doesn't even score as long as he shows the willingness to change. I remember in 06 when he was in the bad patch and betting with all my friends that Adriano would score before year end and I remember scream till no end when he finally did score but I still stood by him when he didn't. I remember in 04 when he was the bets in the world I was so proud to have him playing for us. Now a goal from Adriano is like sex for a 15 year old. Rare but awesome......

Wow, Adriano qualified for a contract in Sao Paolo!

If Adriano's fame and reputation from past years weren't enough for him to gain respect from Brazilian clubs, then that would mean he's not very popular with his fellow countrymen either. Of course since he qualified it's a positive sign, but not enough to say there's an improvement in his form or fitness.

I'd wait until we see him play again to make such judgement.

I simply don't get why one dawn during vacation equals Adriano not wanting to show improvement.

Sao Paolo wouldn't have taken Adriano if he was as terrible as he was with us. They are way too good a team to do so.

I'm sorry but if Recoba is in a former player forum then so should Adriano. If not, then WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM? =p

Recoba has virtually zero chance of returning while Adriano will probably be back June.

Even Andreolli has some chance of returning though we are not optimistic. Adriano should be moved there and brought back in June if he comes back
