Lautaro really strikes me like the guy at work who is ALWAYS so insanely busy, really high work rate, but no measureable quality or output, and at the end of the year everyone's wondering htf the guy managed to be so busy

FIF told me Toro was brave and courageous for giving a penalty to a better penalty taker in Hakan....

Utterly pathetic at this level (and age) to not have your penalty technique down. Appalling.

Nothing to do with courage. Just acknowledging he isn't good enough. I wish he had done the same tonight. We could have won.

No practice will make him better. He's just not good enough. He shouldn't be the #1 penalty taker. Lukaku and Hakan should always be ahead of him.

Don't have one.
Did I read write that lautaro took the ball from lukaku for the penalty? People online saying lukaku is the designated taker but lukaku took the ball?

I didnt see the first half.
Lautaro is our first option penalty taker, you have inzaghi interviews from last year to confirm that. Probably nothing changed since lukaku returned, which is absolutely ludicrous.

Limone also said that dimarco will keep be our first penalty taker after he miss one against atalanta in last year, do you remember any penalty that dimarco take since???
Limone statements mean shit..

That's not true. He needs to stop going for placement. Just pick a spot and smash it. As the saying goes, it takes 10000 hours or 10 years to master a skill, Toro has had enough time, he just hasn't put the work in.

Honestly, don't remember him mentioning di marco as a first option.

This is his quote from a year ago:
“You know the list of our penalty kick takers. Lautaro is the first one, then Calhanoglu, Perisic, and Sanchez, but many footballers can take it. We’ll see…”
But this just proves both of our points, especially the last part of the statement, he takes it so casually like we have many good penalty takers when in reality only lukaku is the one.

Rom and Toro are the designated penalty takers but limone leaves it up to them to decide. How you can let someone who has missed 4 out of his last 7 pens decide whether he or the guy with the 100% record decides who takes it.

This is on Inzaghi imo. When both Lukaku and Lautaro are on the pitch it shouldn't even be a debate. I would even take Hakan over Lautaro as a penalty taker.

Lautaro has always been inconsistent a front of the goal. He has improved, and he was carrying the team long enough, but he also has his bad days. The real problem is that no one else stepped up and delivered, when it is needed. Lukaka for example, was trying only to distribute the ball, and he never really tried to take some responsibility to make the stuff by his own this game.

Lautaro never carried us. Just because sometimes he does his job and finishes the work of other players doesn't make him a carrier. We don't have that kind of player in our squad.

In the matter of importance I name Barella as the most important player, but I won't mention him as someone who carries this team.

He is slow, he cant dribble, he needs too many chances to score, he is too much sloppy and his heading is not good. We need killer in 16m. Lautaro is not the one.
