I would sell Correa before Lukaku. This guy not better than Sanchez. Lukaku need Pintus level coach To make his physical presence.

I can not believe the complete lack of creativity and inability of our management to find or even consider any possible solutions or alternative options other than those that are right in front of them. It feels like they do not want to give consideration to options/alternatives that they do not already know.

Why are you blaming the management? We've established that it's the scouts fault.

Brehme, who sets the parameters for our scouts? If the scouts are not doing their job or are not encouraged to venture outside of Italy in search of talent, then surely that is a problem with the way the way the club is being managed.

Also if it is the case that management are not taking into consideration the players our scouts have scouted then why the fuck do they even bother sending scouts to scout players they have no intention or capability of signing. May as well reassign all 40 of our scouts to just watch Roma games.

Our scouting range is phenomenal.

Scouting is independent from transfers. They make recommendations, they don't have much leverage to push for players. If Baccin feels that some secret player is worth spending our limited budget he'll try to persuade the transfer team, which he's part of, but that's about it.

There are like 3 different scouting directors I think and each does a separate job according to age groups, roles , technical stuff etc.
I think the main one for the first team, is reporting under the transfer team, whereas the rest are more autonomous, at least from that level.

The first team scouting is far different from the rest. The transfer team effectively directs them and they're not suggesting that much unless it's part of their report. Eg if they scout a match and there's another case worth scouting further.

It's not a straightforward process, there's a lot of structure there.

I still can't believe we brought this guy back to the team.
We weren't much worse with Dzeko in his place and before this season what we needed was a striker that could help us beat English's teams
and this guy already failed in PL twice.

This is exactly what I thought. Why would a cash-strapped club deploy an expansive (end therefore expensive) scouting system that they won't use?

The torrent of abuse that was about to spew out of my mouth when he missed that penalty would have been unmatched.

Barely a 5/10 game even with the goal, but he still needs to keep playing. Showed some good strength and hold-up play, while misplacing some tragic passes (one of which led to the Udinese goal).

He's just too useless. Can't get to scoring positions, like ever. His only positive is the hold-up plays now, but usually when he touches the ball, something stupid will happen. Like the conceded goal, it started from his weak pass which was off-target, Udinese started a counter and boom, goal from 6 meters or so. He's simply out of the sync with others since he constantly keeps passing to the feet of team mates or even worse, behind them, rather than in front of them.

Hard to see our management renewing the loan, it just does make so little sense.

He’s only 29 but he already looks past it. The confidence and explosiveness is just not there. Maybe Conte, wherever he ends up, can inspire him again but I have my doubts.
