This arguments have been used for do many years but I've yet to see us selling players to a mid table epl team for good money. Unless you consider Chelsea a mid table team
A lot of the shit we've been trying to sell hasn't been anywhere near as good as hakan.

Only 5 PL teams have players with 6m net annually....
Might become 6 if Kane gets a move. Or if the FX rates change a bit.

Hakan isn't going to be a top earner at Arsenal, Tottenham or Liverpool. So that makes it 3 possible teams, with Chelsea out of the question and City probably fucked hard soon, so also out of the question.
Man Utd is the only team that can buy him.

Guess what, he's not that special, noone snapped him when he was free. He's surely better than when he was at milan but NOT that much better

Yeah, doesn't make much sense to offer him 6m net, there's really no competition.

In general, we pay enormous salaries considering our financial situation.

Disagree. We all thought he was a step down from eriksen and he done way better than eriksen. We thought we were fucked when we lost brozovic and hakan has possibly displaced brozo. Under rated.

Though its just who would take him. Liverpool need a whole new midfield but I don't think they'd buy a 29yo. Spurs possibly. Who knows. Just pure speculation too obviously

That's a misstatement because there's not one particular answer on what "most PL sides'" pay.
If we combined Serie A and PL, Inter would rank 6th behind Chelsea, City, United, Liverpool and Juventus.

Most PL teams though (eg top 12) outspend the bottom 12 Serie A clubs significantly in terms of payroll.

In terms of individuals, most teams do not pay higher than 4m net. Newcastle for example do not. Yet.

We need to sell both him and Brozovic.

Not sure about this renewal. We have Brozo who we'll struggle to shift in the summer due to age and wages and Asllani is coming through in that position. At mezzala there's Auoar available for free who at his best was levels abouve Hakan and would be cheaper. At 5.5 million he would be making almost 1mil more than Benaccer who he is not as good as and much older. It feels short term to me as always under Marotta. Potentially another mistake as Brozo is proving to be now

Short term is the orders of the ownership.

Zhangs want success, trophies while wanting cost cuts aswell.

Hasn’t he been more important for this team than Barella, Brozovic and any other midfielder this season. He is also the dead ball specialist on the team.

How many midfielders had Inter tried to acquire that have had the same impact as him in the past 5 years, and wasted their money doing it ?

More importantly, how much did Milan spend on that Belgian kid, Brahim Dias, trying to replace Hakan?

How much has Juve spent trying to reassemble a proper midfield? They bought Locatelli, and signed Rabiot, Paraedes.

I would take Hakan over all those players.

This comment deserves a ban, so many things wrong that I don't know where to start.

Keeping Calha, Bare and Brozo is a must... i mean, lets see how Brozo performs, but i am sure he'll be as good as before.

Aouar was better than Hakan, so Inter should sell Hakan and get Aouar?

I'd actually be OK with brozovic going (accepting our reality that we must lose a starter every summer, in normal circumstances I wouldn't ). He's been injured all season, hakan has stood up brilliantly and I really think asslani is the real deal and we should be giving him more minutes.

Only if we are getting 30/40 + though, nothing less. And not a fucking kessie swap
