You don`t understand the basic principle of transfers in football, do you? Because this is not your first such post?
You can transfer a player only if he agree. This is not NFL or NBA. To sell Brozo you need a club who need to pay your transfer request and his wages request. I don`t see many clubs who meet both criteria. Actually I don`t see any (that deal with Barca probably was the last chance).
What is solution, if player does not want to leave, and he does not wants to extend contract? What, if he waits his contract to run out, than go free and get signing bonus? It looks, club does not have any rights. Every club invest lots of money in player, and might end up without any transfer fee or compesation.

I must admit that I am seriously disappointed in Skriniar. All his words and actions ultimately meant nothing. Whether it's the club's fault or Skriniar himself is clear. If the management did any of their work well, we would have extended his contract long ago. He made his choice. That choice has fallen on money and that is something he must know for himself. But come out like a man and don't try to run from your own decisions. He now tries to leave for Paris like a thief in the night. Such a farewell does not deserve such a player, but he made it all by himself.

Materazzi was absolutely right in his comment. He will never feel the love anywhere like he felt in Giuseppe Meazza. This only shows that we support a club and never the players. EVERY player is replaceable and plays for himself. What a fucked up display this has been.

Anyone fancy a Skriniar shirt before I burn them all?View attachment 7972View attachment 7973

I see you have a new avatar. Guess i am the last man standing but not for much longer.

That's quite a collection. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you.

Not really. The point is that Marotta isn’t an amateur, he knows the game and he got burned.

This whole thing about Skriniar wasn’t transparent isn’t how things work. Marotta has a job and it’s not based on subjective beliefs but concrete facts.

Skriniar had 1 year left on his contract in the summer and this was the last time to cash in on him. Offer on the table from another club or clubs was always a real scenario, you counter by making an offer - real contract offer. If you don’t have a signature, you approach with caution and weigh the risks.
I doubt that Marotta didn't take this risk into account, cause there are rumors Zhang blocked the transfer for 50M. If that was the case, he didn't have any options other than putting a gun to Steven's temple, which you obviously wouldn't suggest

Let's also not pretend like every single one of us would have went mental. Everyone would have been looking marottas head for selling the loyal soon to be captain skriniar.

Little did we know he was a snake.

With fans like this I doubt he will have many second thoughts in Paris.

Absolutely. This Marotta hate is something else. I read somewhere a hate comment in italian which translated into "Marotta conspired this free transfer to get a share from Skriniar's signing bonus" lol

Well his job isn't to care about how fans feel, his job is to look out for club's best interest. We would have gone mental had we sold Skriniar last season, but it was his job to make the best decision for the club. Just like Lukaku last season, many of you blamed the management for selling him, but in the end of the day MarottA explained that it was Lukaku who pushed the move.

Marotta has already had to confront an angry curva nord turning up to inter hq demanding answers. Lol and from what we know, it was zhang who blocked it, convinced he could get skriniar to renew. Maybe we already knew he wasn't going to renew but thought we could convince him?

I don’t believe that Marotta or Zhang considered fans response to outweigh that of $50 million fee. Especially if they appreciated Skriniar may leave for free.

Because if you believe that, then you are
making Marotta and Zhang as unreasonable actors. Because no one who is Inter’s financial situation would say no to $50 million for a player that may leave for free, or likely to leave for free.

Exactly. This shit is getting ridiculous, people here blaming Marotta because they already made up their mind before he joined that he came from Juve so that = everything he does is bad. Same for Conte

Like give it a rest you’re not some Ultra. You’re from fucking Greece who began supporting Inter because Karagounis, who was shit for us mind you, was playing for us. Lord knows where we would be without Marotta
Lol, I supported Inter before you were born.
And the closest thing to a Maltese at Inter was Vieri's dog.

Marotta is being blamed because he is responsible for this affair. And many more that preceded this. It's not something new at Inter in the last few seasons.
And it won't stop either. We turn on Barella or Bastoni next, just because Marotta says so. Not publicly, but to his mouthpieces. And you'll be dancing to whatever tune he's orchestrating.

Never get attached to players. It's pointless.

maybe the fans shouldn't deny the possibility from the boards, or every directors around the world. corruption wasn't an unpopular thing in the world especially for theirs who worked as an executive.

in the end marotta co is responsible and he must look after and settle things between rest of nearly ended players like Skriniar, Gagliardini, D'Ambrosio, Handanovic, Cordaz, Dzeko, De Vrij, Bastoni, Acerbi, Darmian, Lakaka, Bellanova and how to replace their position they left.

Were there any big names in the past, transferring to other clubs for free under his nose? I don't remember. Why would he go for such a risk when he is 65? His salary is more than enough for him to enjoy the rest of his life somewhere in Val D'orcia

Like I said it could be worse. He could do Hakan or Bonucci and join beelan or rube for free. Thats the real piece of shit in my book.
What makes you think that he wouldn't do that if only bbilan or rube has the financial capability to offer the same financial benefits as psg?

And what makes you think that he would leave us if we have the same financial capability as them or Psg? Enough with speculations. What if,what if...I doesnt matter right now. All I am saying is that we also have players in our squad that acted like piece of filth when they came to us and are considered traitors in their former teams(DeVrij,Hakan etc). But that was cool for most of Fifers, how they threated their club then and came to us,but now everyone crying like fkn babies when Skriniar does this. Whole fkn summer with that disastrous mercato people didnt realize how fucked we are. You will trust a guy who says he loves Inter and that he will stay. Just saying that. Yea right. Fuck him,let him go. I dont fkn care about him,he is history to me. Move the fuckin on already.

Not really. The intitial reaction of many fans could be rage for selling him in the summer but they would accept it later. Any rational fan would accept 50m for him was a good deal when he had 1 year left in his contract and was not supposed to extend his contract.

I simply sell anyone for the right price and let go of even our most beloved players when the time is right. The club simply should not let it reach to this stage. We can all be disappointed in Skriniar but the club should take the blame for letting it go this way. The signs were there in the summer that he might not extend his contract after PSG came up with that fancy offer. They had to take that 50m offer when they still had the chance. They didn't and now we all fear how the season is going to turn out whether Skriniar stay or go.

I agree 100% with your sentiment regarding skriniar, but "crying like a fkn babies" is the nature of fif(and why I avoid it). This forum will always find plenty to cry about, with or without skriniar.

Dude, these guys acted like mercenaries from day one, neither of them were promising eternal love for their respective exclubs. Skriniar on the other hand has always been trying to attract fans' love and looks like he did so to take advantage of it. I will sign the contract, fans know it. Fuck off please

If skriniar is now staying till June I don’t know how effective/and motivated he will be. I would assume the fans will turn on him and I just see him being a toxic dump till June. Just offload him now.

i think skriniar motivation/ mental state is being overexaggerated, he has been a professional who gave his all for 6 years. one dumb moment against empoli was just bad timing with everything going on. Psg is not gonna pay up and our management is too slow to find a replacement so he is going to stay. no point booing or benching him now. just need to focus on our goals of top 4 and next round of champions league.
