D'ambrosio perhaps
don't think he'll start the game. It will probably be both Acerbi and De Vrij starting.
It really is strange that this team has no ''real'' captain material player. It will really probably be Barella, even tho he's not suited for the role.

Fixed.

Letting Perisic go was never a mistake. Not only because he's having a very understanding season but also because when you need to cut wage bill the first who need to go are veterans.

For once we cut ties with a star player at the proper moment. The problem was failing to replace him, not letting him go.
I think Di Marco has been excellent this year. He's done well in replacing him. Agree with it being the right team to let perisic leave.

Gosens we were all delighted with when we signed. We couldn't predict how bad he'd be after his injury but that's also the risk of buying atalanta players.

On failing to sell skriniar, reports are that Steven himself blocked the sale, which then lead to us not being able to sign Bremer. I think skriniar lead us along a merry dance as well, he had said the fans know me when asked about his renewal.

De vrij, failed to sell sure but now he's renewing him and I'm not sure why. He'd need to be on half his wages, otherwise that's a failure.

Lukaku, he's never had theae injury problems before. At the start of the season again it looked like a great deal, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Now, I'd honestly say lukaku is finished. We all knew his game relied on his strength and pace, once that goes he's finished. Ship him back. Dybala has a 20mln release clause, would be great to sign him now.

Correa, disaster. Though how much of that is marotta and how much is inzaghi.

He also has the difficulty of trying to sell players for high fees when the whole world knows we are broke. We have absolutely no leverage any time we try to sell a player.

In France they report an EPL club is offering more than PSG to Skriniar and now the player has asked from French club to match their offer. As of now, there's still no agreement with any club.

Аctually, there were no offers for SDV. Correa had some offers, but he declined them and as far as remember Inzaghi wanted to keep him.

Good to know the other clubs are willing to pay more for an Inter player once Inter gets nothing from this.

We should offer them straight swap with Koulibali if Skriniar wants to go at Chelsea.

Why not? They have ancient Silva and Chalobah where he'd play
And they want to have 3 first team squads so I wouldn't be suprised. Especially with the money they are spending they will search for ''cheap'' options on the market.

I was wondering that Newcastle might also offer huge money for a player?

Also Manu might offer big wages as they are replacing Maguire with someone new?

I don't think Ten Hag wants to have a CB like Skriniar in his team. He wants defenders who are comfortable on the ball and that's not Skriniar's strong point

Going from living in Milan/Como to Newcastle doesn’t sound very enticing. Even to Geordies.
