For me right now the question are only one, is it wise for inter to not extend player in the position in the squad like Skriniar who is a first team player at least before his contract run out in less than 12 months?? It doesn't matter if you want to sell him, if he is already signed new contract you could still sell him end of season..
For that alone i really believe Inter shoot themselves in the leg for this..
And also in Skriniar POV, i think it's for the best for him to leave.. Because yes he is a first team player, but look how easily Inter signed a bench player and give him a higher salary than you.. And the club track record who aways listening to offer for you.. And there is no guarantee they will stop doing it again.. Because who else will they sold? Maybe Dumfries but after that? He is the most expendable player but still have value in the team.. Remember someone in management clearly said its easier to replace a defender than a striker... About the captain position? He is only a replacement captain, Inzaghi clearly said if Handa play, Skriniar wont be the captain..

If you think that's bad i saw people on twitter (Italians) comparing Skriniar with Icardi.

He is unprofessional, but @andrei meant completely different thing. Lukaku had an offer on the table and decided to leave. He had informed the management, and everything happened. Skriniar had also one, but on other hand he kept quiet for whole year, because P$G offers him around 20 mln bonus if he signs as a free player with them. If he said, I want to go, then the situation would have been completely different. In that case, Skriniar's actions are much more selfish. Anyway, I'm surprised how many people are delusional that Skriniar would have renewed if we offer him a bit more, and how they believe that Skriniar wanted 6.5, but our proposal was only 6, and some other bullshit. Guys, P$G promised him 9 mln salary + bonus over 20 mln if he signs with them as a free agent. All other things are just a smokescreen until the time comes. All of those negotiations with Inter and stuff were fake.

Lukaku didn't have an offer on the table. Inter had an offer.
Then Lukaku told Inter he doesn't want to leave. Within 2 days he changed his mind and then asked to leave...

The point still remains. Lukaku informed the club he wants to go and club took the action. First trying to persuade him to stay, then engaging to negotiations with Chelsea.

Skriniar talked about Hamsik just last June. The optics are very fucking different here.

Lukaku's agent also received an offer about the salary, and there is the moment when Lukaku changed his mind. Soon after he informed the management for his decision.
The situation with Skriniar is different though. There were an offer from P$G, which was deemed as unsatisfactory by Inter, and the negotiations took too long. At one point, there were words from P$G boss (if I'm not wrong), that if Inter do not sell him, they will get him on free. For me, this is the point when they promised him that fat bonus. The silence from Skriniar's camp, was taken wrong by our management, who maybe thought that he wants to pen a new deal, while he was just waiting for the time to pass.

Yeah the signals from Skriniar were so confusing IF he now ends up leaving for free. It's not like our offer is a garbage, lowballing one. It could be a bit higher like the same what Brozovic gets it, but if that's the case, they would negotiate it further, the difference is minimal.

And I still think it's not over yet, media is all over this but AFAIK what happened is the agent rejected our latest offer and that's it.

I could have swear i read it differently about the PSG skriniar offer, PSG never proposed official offer to inter until after Bremer go to Juventus and there is only few days before the transfer market closed, they only offer something like 50M and Inter rejected it because it's to close to the start of the season.. And does it never cross inter management to ask Skriniar do he wanted to move or not?
Beside that's not the point imo.. Inter should never make the player have all the ball in this..

This is even worse if it's true. That means, PSG were so confident in getting Skriniar, which means that it's quite possible to have an agreement with him much much earlier.

Nobody denies that. The point is that if Skriniar was even a bit bounded to Inter as he stated before, he could have informed that he'll leave. He kept quiet instead to get big bonus instead. Don't blame him, but he is not some victim treated unfair by the management, and an Interista as he tried to paint himself. Very good professional player, who goes straight to Former players for me.

What were you saying last summer when PSG made that offer? Please, be sincere!
I said that we need to get Bremer and Dybala and when we failed it I was bitchin and moaning and still I am. You can find it if you think I am not sincere.

If Skriniar accepted Inter's offer he would become the best paid cb in Italy. It's just PSG offer is at another level.

Anyway, the only thing Skriniar has said in recent months is when there are news about his future people will learn it from himself. Skriniar owes it to the fans to talk and speak his side. Enough with the silence.

I dont feel betrayed by Skriniar at all, to be honest, but I do feel disappointed about the situation. Like, really disappointed. I get the point that there are views from each perspective and things like that, but I was really banking on this guy to go down as an Inter legend and one of our stalwart captains in history.

It's not just that PSG offer is better. He gets the chance to play with the best players in the world, win more titles and have an eye on winning the CL. I don't know why people only think about the financial point of moving to PSG. These are very understandable reasons for him to choose PSG after spending 7 years here and probably winning everything he could with Inter.

Some people are getting so worked up over this Skriniar saga when we don't really know the details as what happened in the summer and why Skriniar didn't act like the mighty Zanetti, Hamsik, Lukaku or someone they like in their own scenario.

The signing fee makes a difference . I thought myself probably 10-12M€, but there's rumors of even 25M€ which is even more over our 4 year contract total! .Then add 10M€ net like Hakimi gets with bonuses. Then add the quality of that team. Full of superstars. Not always this plans out since a team full of egos will always crumble without the best coach. PSG itself is a prime example in recent years in CL.

Skriniar is arriving on his last big move and contract. FFS we somehow " found "contract money on our pillars like Barella, Lauti, Brozo, Bastoni and paying Hakan 5M€ net, but can't find the raise to our best defender. Im talking about 2022 summer, not atm. Its too fucking late now lol.

A slap in your face, FC NonNegotiationale.

i feel like Skriniar made up his mind and wants to move on and demanding 8M or whatever is just bullshit, as he knows he won't get it.. He's not worth that money anyway, at least not at Inter, who are broke. The only thing that sucks is that he could have said so during the summer, cause right now it does look like its only for the money. All in all, id sell him for 10M today if there's an offer and end this shit... That's it, if we can get someone on loan until the end of the season, to play in his position, and then buy someone for long term in the summer.

ok, looks like the price is 20M.

New trand: "Nobody is bigger than Inter"
You can use it any time, it doesn't matter if it is correct or not.

Iven if we are bankrupt and dismantled nobody is bigger than Inter.
