Who are feeling inferior to Milan?
Me. They are six points ahead of us, beat us, and easily brushed aside Juventus whilst we couldn't beat their second team.

With us going to Atalanta, being nine points or even more behind them after only 15 matches played doesn't seem like a very unrealistic scenario.

Once again, weren't they +10pts ahead of Juve during the 2014 season or something? That time it was only Juve and Napoli as serious competitiors for Scudetto and despite of that lead, Napoli still managed to bottle it.

I said it back then; they will never win Scudeto.

Besides, IMO their team was better during that time.

Their competitor was also a lot better than any of current Napoli's competitors.

They were robbed back then. Don't think they'll be robbed this year, not as easy to pull off.

Indeed, Juve was far better back then, but they were both strong teams with lots of quality, so if you blow away a +10pts lead then you're a big time choker.

But then again, how that team has anything to do with 2022 Napoli team?

It's like a part of history, like something which haunts you and you can't get rid of it. You have another example in Arsenal. They will somehow find a way to blow their objective away, be it title challenge, top4 challenge or whatever.

It may sound stupid, but this is like when you're cursed on something.

I believe none of that shit. That's the same shit as someone is loser. Until he isn't. Like Pioli for instance.

Is there a single person affecting the outcome in current Napoli who was there in 2014? Apart from the owner. Who technically can affect the outcome so there's that.

You may not believe it, but it makes sense to somebody. A team that fails to deliver when it matters, and if that happens more than a couple of times then you lose faith from most. And it wasn't just for the matter of Scudetto. They blew it up for the top4 as well, when they couldn't defeat Hellas Verona at home.

Tommaso the kit manager. Little do they realise, his delicious espressos are the source of all their failures. Only by suffering daily through bad coffee does one build the necessary strength to vanquish ones foes.

That has been said about Inter pre-Mancini era, but we started winning after that. Napoli has been a choker for years, doesn't mean it's gonna go on like that forever. They are in a very good position to win it this year and it needs a massive sort of a choke job to blow it.

I know both Spalletti and Napoli are capable of that, but their opponents don't seem to be good enough to challenge their position, at least so far.

Napoli are doing great and for now look sure winners of the scudetto.
But let's not forget there is a World Cup coming soon - how will the season pan out after that tournament? It would be so typical for Napoli to play excellent in the first half of the season and choke it away after the world cup. When everyone presumes Napoli will win it - it will also add extra pressure on a team and manager that has a history of choking - So let us wait and see what happens.

Even if juBe are playing utter shit - I'am always aware of them. They could easily manage 10 to 14 straight victories and run away with it all, again.

you forgot that we still have to play so it's only 3 points IF we beat Bologna today. Then of course we could still lose points against Atalanta if not already today. But anyway, considering how shit we actually are im really suprised. That shows how bad the league is at the moment. Imagine Napoli would not have this start, we would have 7 teams playing for the first place, ridiciolous.

Uno di noi Pinamonti!

This is why I'm not worried about the top 4.
