Asllani has a similar deal to correa had. Becomes permanent once we earn our first points of 2023.

He is actually the most natural playmaker (when to keep possession and when to penetrate, along with the vision for possible plays) we have on the team, just still young, so nervous and hesitate from time to time, and weaker on physical ball winning perspective, but his defense position and decision isn't bad at all.

Inter is not the best environment for youngsters development but if Inzaghi keeps on playing Asllani in a regular basis then for sure he will be something special. He has many good attributes like being aggressive, good tackling and also a great vision of the game, but he tends to rush into things here and there. He is also pretty good at set-pieces as well.

Our core is relatively young and has lots of quality. It would be a disaster to disrupt that because of our management's incompetence. We could be a top quality club and dominate football if we make a couple of smart moves in transfer market and of course keep the core of the team.

It's not the incompetence of the management but more like unwillingness of the coach to use young players. Asllani is a bit hasty, and get the wrong decisions sometimes, but this is quite normal for such a young lad. As I said in Bellanova's thread, he needs more playing time against low level teams, in order to build more confidence.

Where is this "vision" people think he has come from? I'm not saying he doesn't have it just that he hasn't showcased any of it, at least to my eyes, I only remember one cross-field long pass with his left to switch play but that's it. On the other hand, he did show that he's aggressive and is decent defensively (still very raw).

Just to be clear I'm always on the side of playing youngsters, regardless of how much potential they have, than shitters like Gags and his fuckin ilk.

You can have a very good vision of the game but your execution can be not good enough because of various reasons, and there is for example someone like Brozo who has a great execution and also reads the game pretty well. I can't go on and give you particular examples but it's obvious to audience when a certain player has a good vision of the game as he can somewhat predict many things during the game.

Nonetheless there is plenty of room for improvement, but in overall his attributes show that he could be a top quality player in the near future.

Vision doesn't always mean great sublime passes (long or short). It can be simply controlling the tempo. That's vision, to know when to do a forward pass, when sideways pass, when backwards pass, where to run to be available for passes of your team mates or to cover the space, when to press etc. etc. And in that position, in the center of the midfield, in a defensive controlling role (regista), you definitely need vision to be able to do those things while to not get fucked over. It's definitely not an easy stuff as we should know here full well (given how important Brozovic grew to be at Inter).

What we've seen from Asllani is not much yet given the lack of minutes, but I would say he has the tools to get there. He has some great players to learn from.

I assume he will learn:
- Free kicks and shots from Hakan
- Some technical skills from Barella
- Dictate tempo, defense, crypto scamming from Brozo
- Getting involved like Mkhitaryan
- Gagliardini form in Genoa matches

Yeah I think he can learn but be excellent at those is to be seen.

the kids got quality, I’m not concerned. Just needs to get become acclimated to a big club atmosphere. It’s not like he’s a gagliardini who can’t string 3 passes together.

Aslani with limited minutes shows lot more than Vechino, he is just young and sometimes he rushes things.

Players need regular game time to achieve rythm and to get know their teammates and then slowly build their confidence. Young players make mistakes, but so does Brozo, Hakan, Gags… Pioli has done awsome job at Milan and have given gametime to young lads.

I think it’s unfair to play some of the players 20minutes per. month and expect them to rule the field? Of course start of the season was so shit and Simone had huge pressure about the results, so I get why he has done what he has done.

Great to see him get 90 mins at CL game. Important for him to show he can manage at that super important position and role. He makes mistakes like all players do at that age.

Thought he was ight. Some really mature moments, some classic youth errors.

Coppa Italia should bring more minutes in the spring, along with hopefully starting against the Cremoneses of the league.

Actually he showed improvement on "the rushing on a decision" which I consider a consequence of his hesitation, when you are not sure you either just rush and pick one option, cause you can't think it through or be sure, and there is no time or you just freeze up.
He was more assured on his actions today.

I think it's too early for him to be deployed as a registra. He has good passing and ball control, but his defensive contribution and positioning is off the mark. Imo he shall be moved a bit higher on the pitch. He has a lot of energy and he is not afraid to attack the penalty area, so maybe it's worth if Inzgahi gives him some minutes as CM.
