Arteta was coached by Wenger as a player and mentored by Pep at City. I'm pretty sure he is far from amateur.

Went to check the stats he has at Arsenal. Sure, previous seasons had too many losses, but so far this season only one loss. Overall, almost had 60% win rate overall, which actually is pretty good for a coach in his 3rd full season (first season he came in the middle)

I heard the whole team was complete shit yesterday (apart from Lloris)
Same. I don't think they are talking about just yesterday. Currently browsing the spurs subreddit to find out more.

Don't have one.

Contract perisic last season it seems. Spurs fans not happy with him
Totally expected, perisic with his characteristics can create havoc in a league like seria a, playing against calabria, danilo or whoever...
In premier league he is one of many, and a lot of players are many magnitudes better than him in terms of speed, technique, etc.

I highly doubt he gives a fuck though, he went there to collect the last big paycheck and that's it.

Weren't there rave reviews on his performances at the start of the season?

Didn't Inter offer the (almost) same salary as Tottenham? I always thought he went there for a new experience or something.

Yeah don't listen to this shit, he's one of their top performers so far.

Problem is that Conte uses him less frequently than he should and even played him on the right once.

If we go by whoscored as well, he's 12th out of 20 players for spurs this year.

Tottenham - Football Statistics | WhoScored.com - https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/30/Show/England-Tottenham

I haven't watched much of him there but there's a lot of people saying he's been shit. I don't know if it's because he was going there as our mvp and they had really high expectations, but still interesting.

I'm tempted to post on the spurs subreddit to see what they think more out of curiosity than anything.

The consensus I've seen so far is he started really well and has faded really badly.

They expect him to score, assist, defend and dribble past players every time he's near the ball. Also, they're Tottenham fans. They thought Dele Alli was world class and believe that Kane is way ahead of Benzema so I wouldn't put much attention to what they say.

P.S. https://www.90min.com/posts/premier-league-team-of-the-week-gameweek-11-2022-23

He's so bad that some blog has him in the latest team of the week and calls him a menace whenever he plays.

he's obviously wasn't going to be good as last year because to new league, new teammates etc way to early to say he's been a failure there. I think he'll come good

So you pick some tweets from some Lily girl, some wankers from twitter and reddit to prove what?? That Perisic sucks? Lmao this is hillarious, even for FIF standards. What can they expect from Perisic playing on left flank in rigid 5 3 2 Cunteball? Every top team that play high pressure on high level will eat Cunteball anytime anywhere. If he doesnt change that he will fail, just like Mou, except Mou didnt have this good roster, not even close.

It's all from this inter commentator on twitter. Its pretty funny the whole thing, worth listening to him talk about it as well if you have some spare time

Wtf? He was one of their best performers iirc and had a good number of assists?

Anyway yesterday's game they were awful as a team cause of Conte's low block and very defensive setup. He always does this when he plays away vs a good team in England and rarely collects points there.

Perisic was just like the rest of Tottenham players - always on the defensive coping with Ten Hag's intense press

It has to be said that this was BY FAR United's best game I watched this season, they really turned up for it.

Only Inzaghi knows how to use Perisic, just like only Conte can get the best from Lukaku :einstein:
Perisic's last season performance was more down to his desire to get a contract extension from us or impress potential suitors.
