I kinda feel sorry for Inzaghi and think he's a good coach. Something started rotting inside this club from the summer. The way we embarrassed ourselves in the mercato and the way we dealt with player extensions is not his fault. However, he has clearly lost it. Those 30 minute subs are amateur shit. He has to go.

Tbh I do think the major issue here is coming from the players. Inzaghi definitely has a lot of blame on him, but I think there's been a lot going on behind the scenes regarding the players. I think the mercato is the biggest reason. Only time will tell.

I don't remember I've ever seen a coach changing two of his players after 30m minutes for any reason beyond injuries. Has anyone ever seen something like this?

I’ve been rooting for him to turn it around, but I don’t see it happening and today was the final blow for me. It would be foolish to put the blame on Inzaghi solely but he is clearly not up to the task of keeping the players focused and performing in this moment and game management has never been his strength.

He is a scared, dumb, coward, confused version of Roberto Mancini.

According to Sky, Inzaghi isn't at risk now but management demands a reaction after the international break.

Our CBs were the best in the league back then, and now it's totally collapsed. The blame is on him.

I'm against changing the coach every single time the team is in crisis. It only works for Chelsea, and we have no money to afford a new coach (forget about the likes of Tuchel). Let's hope he feels guilty and can somehow react to turn this shit around.

One of the worst game management ever by Inter coach only parred by the likes of De Boer, Mazzarri, or Stramaccioni. The difference is the prior coaches picked a bad lineup from a wretched squad while Inzaghi deployed players with better option on the bench.
  1. Let's start from our opponent. Everyone knows Udinese is a heavily physical side. What he did was to play the senile Miki and not to play Onana to make sure we bypass their midfield pressure. As much as I despise Gags, at least he still could cope with the physicality as shown by our improvement after his sub.
  2. It was already an atrocious starters and the worst was Gosens kept being benched. It has nothing to do with the team integration or strategy anymore, Gosens is a few our players who can give a decent footrace to Udinese. Darmian was completely hopeless against fleeting runs of Udinese players.
  3. Our midfield was the main culprit. They are outpaced, outsynced, and outmuscled. We barely strung 2 passes together and we kept being dispossessed the second we had them. At least Inzaghi could play Onana so we have an option to punt the ball forward to utilize Dzeko's hold up play which is the only hope when our midfield was completely dysfunctional.
  4. And lastly, the notorious double subs. It is already an unwritten rule in football that sub out before halftime is a humiliation and it is only done when the players are hopelessly bad. Bastoni certainly had a torrid game, but Inzaghi could still hang on for the next 15 minutes and just change Miki instead to give him protection before sub out Bastoni at halftime. Now Inzaghi not only looks dumb, but he is also alienating himself from the dressing room.

No pure DM like Vidal , pacey wingback like Perisic, and game changer sub like Sanchez. We are done this season.

The winning team Conte build already crumble, Inzaghi only helped last season because Conte team, he is mediocare coach.

I'm more worried about the youngster like bastoni, asslani and the others, that's why he need to go, while sunning dismantle the squad, inzaghi unintetionally dismantle the team, thanks for your effort mr simone

it's not bad at the end. Their money-milking machine isn't work anymore.... so at the end, Zhang/Suning only chance to grab money from this club is forced-sell it right now at the end of 2022. Aramco, Investcorp i think don't really want to miss this rare chance to buy Inter.

According to Tuttosport, management trust in Inzaghi remains intact.
The management can get fucked with inzaghi, bunch of brainless clowns, ruined the team at every fucking aspect...

He's 46, this is his second club, has got much to learn. Dude is not bad but we're never winning anything with him for now, doesn't matter what player you give him.

Making the double sub was to get reaction, to give a shock to the team like Inzaghi told us. The root issue of that is he himself hasn't done his work properly by preparing the team correctly to the match so that he had to try to "fix" it during the match, already in the first half.

IMO he took the ownership of all this so at least that's good.

Let's hope he can find a way to get out of this mess, because the team looks fucking terrible on the pitch. They are not fighting for loose balls, there are no urgency, no inpsiration.

Didn’t he take ownership last time too before the CL game cause we lost? At this rate the Zhang’s are gonna sell the club to limone on how much ownership he wants to take for our loses

I love like how always someone will try to make this a larger-than-life type of problem.

"Something is wrong inside the club"
"Zhang minus X plus Y"
"Locker room is unstable at this moment"
"The problems started after the mercato news came for..."
"This formation requires this and that, but more of that and we miss this and especially THAT"

Inzaghi needs to leave. That's the truth. Maybe he needs another club to reach that level of knowledge (and with that comes confidence) that will make him look outside his bubble. As is, he sucks.

He is a nagatomo bitch type. 4 meh games, followed by 10 loser games, followed by a win, followed by another 4 meh games that now look like a gold after the terror we've witnessed.

Loop this.

There are always reasons behind why coach fails.

There's been speculation over here about those reasons. I don't get this "larger-than-life" nagging.

It's as if you claim there is nothing behind this downturn, but just that Inzaghi needs to leave. That he just sucks or something. He also collected 84 points last season so wouldn't say it's only that he sucks (quite oxymoron coach sucks but he's been able to collect 84 points in a season and win 2 finals).
