I'm talking about finishing skills. In a big CL games you may have 1-2 chances in 2 games with a big opponents and you have to score. Real Madrid, MC, Bayern won't give you 5-6 chances. Unfortunatelly both our strikers lack finishing.
Barella knows how to pass and he was one of the best assistant of Serie A.
And Lautaro knows how to score, he was our best scorer and has been scoring more than 20 goals per season for the past several years

So you think Barella has superior finishing skills to Lautaro based on that one shot?
How many chances Lautaro had against Liverpool in Anfield?
Side note it seems like Inzaghi is not exactly demanding the strikers to be extremely clinical (even though who would say no to that), but more involve in plays which by all means would hinder the conversion rate, as you spend more energy running, in contrast, when ancelotti was at Everton he actually minimized richarlison's cover space to increase his conversion rate.

If you could only create 1-2 chances in CL then you would probably go out because the other team created 5 and not because your strikers weren't clinical enough.

Of course not, that was only one moment. Barella has nothing to do with finishing. Why are we talking about Liverpool, how many moments did Real has at Meazza? it was one game and he missed a lot of 100% chances during the whole season, if he converted half of them ..................................

Barella scores one nice goal after being ridiculed for his shooting for YEARS and suddenly he is better than Lautaro
Who said that?

Seriously, go look at the 1-1 derby highlights last year. That shot attempt from essentially the 6 yard box will stick with me for years.

Real is not really a good example you know, they was extremely 'lucky' for the entirety of their CL run. Liverpool, MC, Chelsea and PSG could all put them to rest but ultimately failed to. Maybe it's luck or maybe its Courtois, but either way it's unfair to call out Lautaro when other world class attackers also failed to do the same job.

We also should not discuss the extreme possibilities in these cases as we can't control our luck. 1-2 chances simply wouldn't cut it. One of the best finishers in the last decade, Mauro Icardi, only had the conversion rate around 35%. Many world class strikers are only around 20%. 2 chances would average less than a goal even for the best strikers out there, it's unreasonable to hold Lautaro accountable when you create so little.

That is conversion rate from total shots, I mean "100%" chances, where Lautaro in very average, I agree that he is a top, but his misses will cost us a lot.

I think he was good apart from his finishing, but this is his weak spot anyway.

Lautaro is class. Even when most of the team was underperforming yesterday, he was one of the only ones who was capable of controlling the ball and executing passes. In fact Inzaghi kept him on to link midfield to attack because Brozovic and the other two + subs were literally incapable.

Kept chasing down Lecce's defenders. Building from the back easily is not an option when you play against Inter due to the likes of Lautaro and Barella acting like rabbid dogs. This is one of the best residue of Conte's stay at the club.
His finishing lacked yesterday but he was useful imo.

Yeah, we should be use to it by now, very streaky. He probably will go on a run for a handful of matches, then quite again.

Great game by Toro. He needs to improve his close control, to not lose balls too easily when he gets the possession of the ball. Nice tries dribbling inside the box and managing to get a shot.

And obviously, great goal on top.
