Bremer can't replace Bastoni. Bastoni is a lot more than just a defender for Inter. Bremer can't replace Bastoni passing or his forward runs. Replacing Bastoni would be a lot harder than people imagine. Freaking Chiellini named him as his heir in NT. The kid is special. Also Bastoni is on a low salary so it doesn't even make sense from a financial point of view.

If you go with a Skriniar-De Vrij-Bremer defensive trio then you simply can't play from the back.

If you have to sell someone for big money better sell Lautaro.

This. Send this in gold envelope to Lambo Steve.

It hurts if they kill the soul of our defense.

Is there any confirmed rumour from reliable media that Bastoni is on sale? It has been tens of pages of dreading his departure but I have never read any tweet or message that clubs are after him.

Well we have 5 absolutely top of the line core players . Barella, Lauti, Skriniar, Brozo and Bastoni. Bastoni is the only one without new contract ( Skriniar has agreed new 4.5M til 2026) also he's the most with sale gossips.

Where there's smoke theres fire.

Lose Bastoni or Skriniar (or both with Zhang willing to sacrifice more or less almost anyone) and have De Vrij be even more of a sissy next season than he was this one. Grande

I don't know how reliable is, but I saw in one of Tottenham Facebook group, a post claiming that Bastoni has agreed personal terms with them. And an offer to Inter is the next step.
Unfortunately I don't think that it is false.

Bastoni or Skriniar? quick we need a poll. S.O.B ! This cravenly ownership, is really beyond the pale. The one part of this squad that needed a little tweaking was the defense so the answer was to dismantle jfc. I wouldn't put it pass them to sell both. Lastly, I don't want to hear any complaints about Handa or Onana this upcoming season, who knows what the replacements will be.

I don't think it's so simple. Recently, it emerged a info that Skriniar refused an offer from Tottenham in January. About one month ago, I saw rumors that Liverpool are keen on Barella, but everything has died as I've read soon that Barella refused to move. So, my suggestion is that Inter tried to cash on both of them, but they declined all offers because they want to stay. From other side Bastoni is open to reunion with Conte, so it's much more easier for Inter to sell him. The another one valuable player is Lautaro, but obviously the management have decided to keep him. The only reason is ( at least for me), that they expect him to raise his value next season + the world cup, and to sell him afterwards for more than speculated 70-80 mln now.

I don' think Sunning truly understands the consequences of selling Bastoni or Skriniar. What they are thinking is just on a balance sheet or a quantitative perspective, ignoring the goodwill value of the club, and how new/current players view the club and the relationship with it. (this will affect retention and prospects signing, we can use Arsenal as a reference on the generations before and after Wenger cashing in on the players every year) To sum it up, you can't on one end ask the players for loyalty and love for the club (basically something more than just monetary value), and on the other hand treat them like commodities or trash, like they are nothing but a dollar sign.

This is sickening, disgrace, selling Hakimi and Lukaku is one thing, but selling your flag and your identity, you might as well just sell the club.

Also the best way to integrate new young players to the team is having some core members that has quality and has been with the team forever to lead them, see Madrid.

P.S. All I am saying is cause even at a commercial angle, this is trashing the long term gain for optimizing the short term gain, unless they are truly at the blink of bankruptcy then I mean sell the club, or it is really more of a Cash flow problem they need to survive, then it is like when a body is under extreme starvation, it starts using its organs to maintain basic energy supply, which is detrimental and permanent. Cause the reason a football club even has value is mostly starting from it's identity and the emotion the fans connect with it, it is not like a regular business that truly provides some intrinsic value or service (even those have brand values), stripping that away does not leave a lot left.

All in all I am just a fan being held hostage. It is frustrating.

It's absurd the club supposedly wants 60m knowing we can probably get double that for him. That's how you really know there's a close deadline to make the 60m plusvalenza.

I'm pretty sure I could sell Bastoni for 60M within 24 hours of being named sporting director.
Yep.

The entire affair is mishandled from start to finish. Every fuckwit out there knows we need exactly €60m and that we're too incompetent to raise this money without selling one of our crown jewels.

He will be sold for something pathetic like 50m + 10m bonuses, count on it. Never viewed Marotta as a god like many here seem to but I am increasingly unimpressed with the way he's handled recent management issues.
