According to wikipedia, he lost the 2003 UEFA Supercup with Porto, the 2013 UEFA Supercup with Chelsea, the 2017 UEFA Supercup with United, and the 17-18 FA Cup final with United.

No doubt though, he is a finals specialist with 5 wins in 5 European finals and silverware at every club he has managed since Porto (except where he was sacked before a final).

"Finals are meant to be won, not played."

Rome - Mourinho becomes "Emperor": the mural at the Circus Maximus

The Special One like Julius Caesar: the homage of the artist Harry Grab near the metro station

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has been immoratlised in the Eternal City with an emperor mural in Circo Massimo.

The victorious Giallorossi players returned from Tirana on Wednesday to celebrate with supporters long into the night at Circo Massimo.

On Thursday the party continued with an open-top bus parade to allow fans to enjoy the Europa Conference League win.

And earlier in the day, a mural appeared in Circo Massimo of Mourinho dressed as Julius Cesar holding aloft the trophy with a Roma badge as a shield as designed by artist Harry Grab.

Congrats Mou!

I was watching some videos of their celebrations: pure happiness and unbridled joy!

I am happy that Mourinho won the Conference League with Roma and I am also happy for Roma. Nowadays, football is only about the Premier League, the Champions League and big money clubs like: PSG, Manchester City and the well established European names like Real Madrid, Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Roma had failed in their last two UEFA Cup finals against us in 1991 and 1994 and last won European silverware in 1961. I loved seeing another team take the headlines and win something and the way they celebrated leaves no doubt as to how much it meant to the club and the city of Rome. It was good to see and I even saw a Roma supporter in the Market yesterday wearing what might have been some kind of longsleeve training top. One thing that struck me on seeing him was that football headlines and the focus of the media is so much on the above competitions and teams and that he had every reason to soak in the victory and enjoy the limelight.

oh please stop being so melodramatic
What's melodramatic about it?

It was filled with a lot of nice clubs with lots of fans, great atmosphere mostly, even games, no clear cut favorites and so on.
Only issue was the shitty final stadium selection as it didn't do justice to the fans of the teams. Forced it to become a corporate microevent instead.

I know you're someone who doesn't really rate football as a holistic experience but rather as something you simply can catch on tv for a couple of hours, but for everyone else, this tournament was brilliant.

The Europa League was decent as well, but not as charming for "against modern football" vibes.

The CL is extremely boring.
