bye bye Clippers

it's sad that Kawhi isn't fit, but they will have to make a decision if he is worth the money

Dončič could skip the whole Jazz series or at least first 4 games, some sources say. Jazz could actually steal this one, even tho they are disgustingly off form.

Dont see the mavs win it if luka misses the whole series they should be able to steal one of the first 4 though...

Impressed by the Wolves they brought it to Memephis yesterday..... Edwards was amazing. Then again i guess the grizzlies youth kind of showed some silly possessions and Ja clearly was not used to getting as much attention as he got yesterday and struggled a bit yes he still got 35....
Memphis still the fav but man if the Wolves play like this in gae 2 it s gonna be hard.

Warriors looked impressive even with curry clearly still being a bit off, Pool just took over and the dude seemingly keeps on getting better.
Also imho a great decision by the warriors coaching to just try and tire Jokic out by having him defend all over the place. Dude was clearly gased in the 4th.

Bulls are fools gold,
Ahh brehme...always finding a new ways to disregard NBA today and to talk nostalgia. And only truth is NBA today is better than ever before
How so? League is more balanced, players more athletic, better coaching, but players are less competitive, soft, play no defense, refs, calls are beyond ridiculous (Giannis gets away with everything). The viewership numbers reflect all that. Everything has a peak, basketballs was in the 2000-10s

I like it when more clubs have a chance to win it than just 2, 3 clubs being really on top.

That's cool but you can't tell me the league better when a random like saadiq bey is hitting 50 points.

Meanwhile stars are load managing / sitting out 20% of reg season games, faking injuries (ben simmons), banding together, half assing it (harden), hiring/firing coaches

League is watered down and soft but I see kids like luka, ja Morant, Ice Trae, booker and edwards and there's reason to be positive

yeah, the new generation be going in

I never really cared about LeBron tho, that is some fuck shit he was doing this season and he deserved it. Dude has all qualities to be a serial champion but he thinks he can just wave his magic wand and keep making 'superteams'

Really hope that Doncic can play in play off, Utah would be finished if he plays.
Bucks are still real deal, I put them over Suns now.

even if Dončič comes back, they can beat Jazz, but they'll be swept against Suns.

PTSD (Poole, Thompson, Steph, Dray)

With that injury it might be better if he doesn't even play against Jazz. That's 3 weeks minimum of recouperation.

Can we please not call em PTSD? Fucken cringe IMO.....

On the whole NBA quality discussion i do believe we have more good to great players in the NBA than we ever had before... I also think the average player is a lot better all round player then he was 10/20 years ago. The aount of specialists who just shoot or just defend and are good for nothing else has decreased a lot.
We re also seeing a lot better team basketball than we used to yes it s still a star centric league/game but it aint the 90s early 2000s where there was 1 or 2 guys on each roster that would carry the team. Yes thats still the case these days but i d argue that todays stars carrie less of the burden and it has gone more towards a team effort...
Only point where i 100% agree is that the league has gotten soft and the refs are questionable at times. Maybe we dont have a player of jordans or kobes talent in todays league but imho the average player in the NBA today is clearly better than the average NBA player was 20 years ago.
I d argue it s the same that is true for football.

KAT was fucken weak yesterday dude needs to be dominant if the wolves want to have a chance....
Also i hope booker will be back soon would be a shame if the suns lose him due to injury for any prolonged period of time as that would end their title hopes

Man boston vs nets was a great game, lots of intensity and also very phisical play...
also dont think i ve ever seen durant with such a poor shooting night the celtics defense deserves huuge credit making him go 0/10 in the second half.

3rd game is the decider, Nets will go all out, I project 45 points by Durant

Bulls/Bucks was better. Middleton is out, DeKobe is balling, Refs not falling for Giannis' bullshit

Bulls in 5

I watched my first ever full NBA game a few days ago, which was Nets vs Celtics 1. I thought it was a cool game, but all those timeouts sure are annoying. How do you fellow Europeans follow the sport regularly? The reason I was able to watch was because the game started at 9pm or so, but the vast majority of the games are between 2am and 4am
