Maybe some of you won't realize until a few years go by, but you've just witnessed the most fapworthy ending to a derby possible.

30 years from now this will still be a thing. The Sanchez derby.

I'm happy for the win but concerned about the performance. We had possession but the attack felt toothless, like we were rarely ever a threat. Even in the earlier stages when Juve was pushing out and not just running down the time. Playing at home at full strength against this year's Juve, which is also missing some key players for this match, Inter should have imposed its game more. No dominance for any stretch.
Come on, even if they were weaker than usual it's still Juve playing for a piece of silverware. I mean "playing" given that they did hardly play football, this was to be expected, they never came to play for the win and were actually slow cooking us for the shoot out. We actually managed to quickly turn the game after conceiding and kept trying. These victories build a group, a supercoppa is not the place where you see great plays and stuff, it was important to win, it send a signal.

Another trophy, fully deserved. Winning Coppa this year would be nice too, but this is important as we're going into tough schedule and also we have something to say to Lpool (I hope so). Year started very well.

oh boy i'll sleep well tonight :awyeah:

Don't have one.
I don't think our performance was bad at all tonight, we just weren't clinical enough. I think some people are conflating those two, and there should be some distinction. In these types of games you have to take every chance coz I don't give a shit how much your opponent is inferior, you ain't getting a lot of opportunities, it's a fuckin final. That's good and bad news at the same time, good coz we played great imo, bad coz we ain't improving our finishing ability without buying someone new in attack.

Anyways, absolutely crucial win, especially for the rest of our season, and it couldn’t have come any better way.
