When he saw how much money he's gonna make, i am not surprised he said yes. I am also not even mad at selling him for 115M. Thats a lot of money. But the big problem is well known, his replacement. There is no way a serious club would be paying 40M on a 30 year old Zapata, who's not even been playing that great for the last 2 seasons. I hope I am wrong and he is great, but from what I saw, I am not gonna be optimistic about this.

Yeah, if you think about it, it was a perfect transfer for both parties involved. We helped him revive his career and overcome his meme status, and he helped us win our first scuddetto in ten years.

Yeah 115 or 130 just sell him ASAP. Not good for everyone if this drags on any longer.

€15m is a lot of money (to us).

And as others have discussed there’s the whole issue of the wage decree. Apparently he needs to be an Inter player until April 8th in order for us to be eligible.

Yeah it is, but it seems Inter's desperation to sell is more than Chelsea's desperation to pay that extra 15m.

Universe, you are acting like inter is on the other side of the table, only inter pays 100% of the asking price after dragging the negotiations

Now that it's certain he is leaving, this season is all about trying to improve on last season continentally with fewer resources while qualifying for CL in the league. And odds are bigger of that happening with Zapata than Vlahovic, unfortunately.

we are aiming to be as good as bvb, juventus, atle madrid, sevilla

all these teams would sell players like lukaku, hakimi or lautaro and buy some worst or younger ones

Watching Euro2020 might have something to do with it.

I dont mind Belotti. But won't pay anything above 15-20m for him.
