Now PSG are linked with Aurier. Aurier is a laughable alternative to Hakimi. Leonardo is probably trying to put pressure on Inter to lower their demands. I hope Marotta doesn't budge.

At the very least, if the plan is to just sell one starter for big money then if PSG don't give us what we want we can start peddling Lautaro, Bastoni (No), Skriniar (No), Lukaku, Brozovic around to Atletico, Chelsea, Man City, etc.

The main thing is to get this shit done quickly, so we can start planning our season.

They've been linked with Aurier for a few weeks.

Can someone explain to me how selling Hakimi for 80 is better than selling Brozo at 40? Not proposing one or the other, just trying to understand the difference.

They need to make 80-90m from sales. Selling Brozovic for 40m wouldn't be enough. They would also have to sell another starter. If you sell Hakimi for 80m, in theory you don't need to sacrifice another top player. Making money from deadwood would be enough.

Though i believe in the end they will sell two. Hakimi and one of Lukaku and Lautaro.

Because no one offered 40m for Brozovic. Very simple.

Thanks for the really good news.

As much as I do not want to lose him and no way we can find like-to-like replacement for him, I can understand that if someone offer 80M, our management cannot refuse that.

I just hope we can get the majority of fund we need, and get done with this we-need-money shit.

Possibly, we would still sell one other key players only if the offer is really good, and possibly some of the money can be used for transfer to get young but promising replacement.

Fabrizio Romano: "PSG are really pushing to sign Hakimi, they want to offer around €55-60M, Inter want not less than €80M. At the moment there's no agreement but PSG will try again."

The distance seems to be significant. I don't think PSG will make a much higher offer. I hope our management doesn't budge.

As much as we need money i hope we stay with our 80m minimum. Selling Hakimi for anything less is insulting to ourselves, and quite embarrassing imo.

If they didn't make a higher offer they could take Aurier. I really hope don Beppe told them 80m or fuck off! And I mean 80m direct, not something 50m plus 30m total if he fulfills I don't know how many conditions.
Because we have many arguments on our side:
- he is not an one season wonder at a lower team (he played excellent for 3 seasons)
- he played for bigger teams: Inter and Borussia. He is proved at higher level.
- he played aleasdy in 2 champions (Italy and Germany, don't count Spain). That means he don't have an adaptation problem. He surely will be good in baguette league.
- he played in more that one tactical system (3-5-2, 4-3-3 at Borussia) and he was good in both.
In conclusion they want one of the best RB's in the world, at 23 yo, proved at high level. They better fucking pay and not bitch.

Yeah that's what I thought how this will go. And I fear we will end up accepting something like 65m€ + 5m€ bonuses. Because again, we are in a corner without a way out. GIVEN we need to sell in this fiscal year which is exactly month from this moment. When the Euros/Copa start, no big transfer will go through of our players who plays there, that's almost for sure. So basically we need to do this pretty fast.

IF we don't have to actually make plusvalenza and sell this fiscal year, that we just want the money for the summer as a general rule, then all this is irrelevant talk. We can wait to July.

50 + Paredes, do it.

Hmmm! I am not sure! I believe we wanted to change Eriksen to Paredes, but the problem was Paredes' salary. Probably was too high. On the other side if we could unload Vidal, Vecino, Perisic we could save enough money.
A midfield of Brozo, Barella, Paredes, Sensi and Eriksen is real strong. Stronger than Juventus. And Inzaghi has a luxus problem, better than be fucked to play with Vecino and Gags.

In hindsight that small clip of Hakimi making gestures of how he would be staying. That's not even 1,5 week ago, ironic and perfectly fits Inter as a club right now.

Ironically, I could see us signing Donnarumma - at a Milan-level wage. The lack of a fee makes it quite compelling for us, and he fits the parameters (young, italian, etc). If he ends up in a situation where there are no immediate takers at his ask, the salary request should drop quite quickly imho.
Stay away from Raiola, especially if you`re a broke-ass club. He is demanding 15-25m commission fees according to the reports just for Dollarumma to sign a 2 year contract extension.

I hope Marotta is smarter then this

He sure is, I hope he will take position against anyone thinking of selling Hakimi, just like he opposed the signing of CR. Hope he threatens to resign or something!

With all respect to Maicon, I`ve never seen a wide player to make such a difference at Inter, especially at this age!!! Monumental fuckup if this goes through.

80 million is money we just can't refuse. Although I do believe that we will end up meeting PSG in the middle, somewhere around 70 million which isn't too bad.

How much do you think we would have sold Hakimi for if Ausilio was still in charge?

Imagine if somehow we end up not selling our top players but we let go off Conte because we wanted to sell a top player...
