Napoli game is quite open. As expected their offence is improved from last season and their defence has become more leaky due to the Manolas signing. Meret saved them twice so far.

20 minutes in and it "could have been" 4-2 already. A standard cliche of course as a goal would have changed the outlook and course of the game.

I'm pretty convinced at least 2 of the 3 sides that got promoted for this season will be going back down. Namely Lecce and Brescia. But I wouldn't be surprised if Samp get mixed up in some mild danger of a relegation race, like Fiorentina/Genoa last season.

Sampdoria is almost a lock for a top 10 spot despite their bad start at the rankings.

The relegation battle is still too early to tell. Lecce is probably doomed but Brescia will be a tough nut to crack. SPAL will have to make the jump this season otherwise they're also doomed whether it's this year or the next. They need to replicate Sassuolo as soon as possible before it's too late for them.

Verona, Sassuolo and Cagliari are my picks for relegation battle. With Brescia barely escaping it at the final 3-4 weeks. Cagliari shouldn't be there but they will struggle without Pavoletti.

Genoa and Bologna are the wildcards for this season imo. Will either do really well or really bad.

Spal don't have sassuolo's means. Sassuolo could maybe even compete for champions league, if their owner one day decided to splash money on football. Which he won't do.

Exactly :)

Napoli has invested a lot on him and he's a bad mix, the rest of them, minus Maksimovic who is a different type of player and a more versatile one, aren't starting material for top 10 Serie A teams.

My comment was also a general one, not just regarding that game, but their football is going to be that way. Move it forward fast and pick it up equally as fast at the back with their pacey defenders. They should have gotten at least one more fast center back if they wanted to go that direction as it may cost them in the long run. Meret cannot keep saving them.

Actually not even sure I can recall who else they have other than Tonelli.

2-0 Napoli but ref wants to cancel it. Bad decision, goal should stand.

I think it's far more likely that Fiorentina will be minutes away from securing a great 1-0 win, only for Dalbert to come off the bench and make two disastrous errors gifting a late 1-2 comeback victory to juve. Or maybe that's what you already meant by "Dilbert masterclass."

Please more of that you fucken jinx gay lord you

Not that I'm expecting us to capitalize, shocking runs in our veins.

Juve needs still time to adapt the Sarri style. But honestly, without Ronaldo this team would be really poor in the forward. And it's gonna be interesting to see what they will do without Chiellini, De Ligt is a joke at the moment.

Napoli looks good. At the moment i fear them more then Juve.

Was there even and contact on Kouame for the penalty? This is the 2nd time already this season (Mertens vs Fiorentina) that it looks like there is a penalty call for no contact? Why aren't the guys in the booth correcting the referee or is the referee just ignoring?

Roma are tearing Sassuolo a new one, but Juve B could easily have scored 2/3. If anything, at least Roma are entertaining.
