There is an impression around here that Sorrentino is only good against us, but I swear he seems to pull of heroics a heck of a lot regardless of opposition

I expect Bilan and Lazio to lose points in the derbies next week. Roma might too, against Atalanta away. We really need to win Torino.

Looks like Milan will end up with better deal with all this swaps.

Higuain was earning 9.5 million and barely contributed anything. So at least they are letting go of high earner who wasn't justifying his salary and signed one of the most in form player in the league, who knows they might have lucked their way to sign a goal machine. Also he is just 23 and won't even earn half of Higuian's salary and will have good resale value too.

Just an excuse fans come up with when their team fails along with "this team only steps up against us but roll over against others".

The nose ridiculous one I've seen are fans who think Atalanta only show up against Inter because of Gasperini ignoring the fact they play great football and try to win no matter who they're facing.

Great buy for Milan. Ridiculous by Genoa to let the guy go for so low amount. It should have been 50m€ in the middle of the season for the desperate buyer.

milan is coming back strong tbh. they are coming for that cl spot/ paqueta, conti, suso are all strong. bakayoko is getting back in his groove. calhanoglu is maybe not that good under pressure but a huge fk threat. they have a good defense and now with piatek if he can click with rest of the bilan attack...

i honestly dont see much weakness in their game.

Don't know if you guys watched the Genoa match, but Milan looked hapless. They're not a good side.

I watched only the 2nd half, but still. The attack was shit except Suso, but their defense was very well organized though.

For instance, when Paqueta lost the ball and Genoa got a dangerous chance, at least Bakayoko knew how to mark in front of the box. On the other hand, in Milan 1st goal I don't know wtf 5 defenders were doing when Borini stood completely free right in front of Radu :chan:

They remind me of Mancini Inter a lot. Play like shit, but luck & clinical, then bang, get away with point(s).

that has always been a gattuso's team. Pisa under Gattuso was relegated despite having one of the best defense in the league. However, he is clueless in terms of attack.

I agree that they're getting better but not seeing much of a weakness in their game I'd more reserved for teams like Juventus, Liverpool, etc. and Milan is nowhere close to being one of the best teams in the world.

Their left side is a weakness ad R. Rodriguez and Calhanoglu are both very disappointing. They also lack creativity and it's to be seen how they'll fit Biglia back alongside Kessie and Bakayoko.

Suso is a hot and cold player as he can disappear for a number of games like he need in December.

Donnarumma saved their ass and Genoa was really ridicioulous. They wasted really good opportunities in front of the goal.

im speaking serie a terms, goes without speaking. why compare them to liverpool if they can barely qualify for serie a cl. it is possible to be a solid team but at the same a level or 2 beneath the absolute top. they possess creative players in paqueta, conti and suso. from the little iv seen their transition from defense to attack is to slow, hence them missing chances. suso being inconsistent? each time i see a game from them he turns into their most dangerous player.

they are a good team and they will become better. they are on the same level as us. that is what iv been saying dont try to look to much into it

Problem for us is Milan has bought 70m€ worth of players in this mercato. And we sit here with dicks in our hands.

It is clealry not good for us. Spalletti should be forced to use some of younger midfielders at least.

SKY says Piatek to Genoa is a done deal™ for €35m plus bonuses or counterparts. As cafe said, the deal should've been €50m. But typical fucking Genoa are not only giving Milan their prize jewel for a good price, they're also taking some of Milan's utter trash off their hands like Bertolacci and Halilovic if I'm not mistaken.

I would love to see how Milan ends up after all this bullshit with them, Berlusconi, Yonghong Li, Elliott, FFP, whatever settlement agreement they end up signing and their UEFA ban which was overturned etc. I hope they somehow get relegated. That'd be a nice surprise. It feels like us and Roma are the only 2 teams on the fucking continent respecting FFP/SA.

Apparently Milan paid 35 million in single payment.
